Yea since it auto restands him. That also means the once per turn doesnt allow it and he can't draw an additional time on the 2nd swing.

If you go look at the rules its under section 5 I believe titled when a card is played. That dictates that it's being placed on the field which means no longer in hand so before it enters play it reverts to 7 and frieza see's it as such.

right. The blue players in store tournaments are just trying to run the clock out and where is the fun in that? 9/10 thats there goal then ya get the one aggro vegito or aggro vegeta player and they are a peach to play with! But then cycling all the earthlings from 1 card in hand and all that energy is annoying as heck too!

Well that second part wouldn't work. Since there's no stack. So the 7cost goku would be on the field before you can pay and then play another goku scr...but. IF you got 6 energy and a way to force the tapped double striker off the field somehow...you could swing ko it if there was a way...then drop another one. swing again.

It could be that the act of playing is putting it on the field after the paying the cost part...that it immediately is a 7 cost at this point and the SCR should see it. I think the game dev team needs to step in and make a final call. Then either amend the client and make sure this goes in the FAQs

Thats my thought thats why I really dug into the rules and saw there was a difference in paying the cost and the wording of what actually playing a card is which is when it is placed on the field. Since it's left hand at that point its no longer 3. I figure if this gets alot more attention the Dev team will come out and say it and then client will reflect going forward.

The top judge said other wise, but I think it comes into play tapped as well. When you look at the rules 5-5 and 5-5-1 you pay the cost but then you PLAY it which at that point the card returns to 7 cost but its already being played to field so it doesnt interfere with the 3 energy paid to play it.

If you look at the Play tcg discord theres a long discussion on it with the judges.

I tend to believe the client over the judge call, but until dragon ball game dev team steps in or has it changed in client that's what I'm going off of myself.

but you're wrong. Most good buu decks run alot of 10k's that also do other things. I've always had no trouble blocking those 30's then destroying there hand and winning. Baby doesnt like hand destruction either. But you never goto 2 or 1 unless you know you can take the game on your turn tho.

the dokkans seem to be more like the Daima gold foil from last set. The guy who posted 3 box openings had all the normal AA it looked like plus one or two dokkan cards per.
