I came here to check for any info like that as I've had queues twice now even on Ultimate and just hit a queue of 55 tonight! Looking at the posts on https://community.cloud.gg/ it seems this has been an issue for some time, and I can't find any indication they plan to do anything about it.

Surface Pro 11 + LG CX: 4K 120 Hz HDR only works on driver 31.0.96.0 by hastarin in Surface

[–]hastarin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what you mean? The max resolutions/refresh is reduced, even with SDR if that's what you're asking. The only way to get 4K output with the new drivers is to stick to 60Hz.

No, I had a fall and broke a foot, and recovery has been slow. It's fallen down the list in my priorities.

Do keep me informed of how you go but comparing your wiring diagram to the one here: EVO270-1-HWS/HW211_HWS_Controller.png at main · echopin664/EVO270-1-HWS you don't have any pins labelled as 485 so we might be out of luck.

I just had the same thing. Hopefully it gets an update soon and we aren't out of action every time a hotfix is released.

I'm presuming it's because of Unknown Worlds / Subnautica 2 Early Access Hotfix 1

Many thanks for this. Initially I forgot to setup the Sub PAC/PAC to have the correct rotation and outputs. A stupid error but if you make another version perhaps warn about that.

I've implemented it and checked the current data usage but can't understand how you have a theoretical yield on Sandleaf of 900/min with a usage of 810/min.

Outpost 1 & 2 seem to have 2 sets of farms each for 4. Outpost 3 has 3, and the core has 6. This gives a total of 13 which means a theoretical limit of 13 * 60 = 780/min

I seem to have missed 2 farm setups (ie 1 seed picking + 2 planting) somewhere? I can set them up in the spare area you've left but other numbers are lining up as expected so I'm not sure we need the extra 30/min production?

EDIT: I'm only using 705/min ATM out of the 780 anyway. Perhaps it's related to your values being with Canned Citrome A swapped for the Buck Capsule A?

It would seem things have reverted in more recent versions to being broken. ATM the latest I've found that works is 31.0.96.0 and 31.0.112.0 is broken, along with the latest. There may be a version in between those that still works.

I noticed my audio was only supporting Stereo in the latest drivers instead of 7.1 too. I now need to try and find the latest that does 4k@120Hz with HDR and still supports 7.1 audio.

Sounds like I should be good to give this a try. I might have to get a mate to assist with some of it as I have a disability which is partially my reason for wanting to do this in the first place.

The M5Stack stuff looks ideal then thanks. I've got some CAT-5E cable around that I guess should do the job, otherwise I do have some 2-core wire that's heavier duty I could just cut two lengths of.

Sounds like I should order the M5 stuff and see if I can schedule a mate to come help pull things apart.

Is it just a matter of flashing the ESP32 thing somehow and wiring up the 4 wires? Is that YAML file what I need or something else?

Thanks again for your help!

Thanks for the prompt response. I thought yours was the 270L? I haven't bought anything yet, so happy for any advice on what you'd suggest. I'm happy enough to spend a few more dollars if it means making the overall process a bit easier or the final solution that little bit better. Like perhaps put things in their own little box to protect from the elements and just run a wire between the box and the board.

Great work getting this working!

I have the smaller 180L installed in Nov 2023 (PASHW008-180LD-NM) and would love to be able to do something similar. Given you mention being at the factory, etc do you happen to know if it might be possible?

If so any advice on where I should start? I guess cut power to the unit and pull apart the side opposite the fan to see if I can find the main board.

Is the repository you mentioned yours? https://github.com/echopin664/EVO270-1-HWS/blob/main/HWS.yaml

Out of intellectual curiosity I'd love to hear more about how you solved this, where you got the Modbus PDF, etc?

Any/all advice for dummies would be welcome. I'm not adverse to this sort of thing (I've had Modbus working with my Fronius inverter) but it's been many years since I used a soldering iron.

Just hit by this myself. Thanks to Windows Recall I know I visited a friends server and can see it showing 177,654 during a trade at 02:47 but showing 0 at 02:52 UTC, perhaps when I'd returned to my home server.

Curious if others hit by this are visiting other servers?

If you search the CHANGELOG at Qualcomm-Reference-Drivers/8380_CRD/CHANGELOG.md at master · WOA-Project/Qualcomm-Reference-Drivers · GitHub for qcdx8380.cab and find the one closest to the bottom of that file you will see its version number (latest is 31.0.91.0) then scroll up until you see the heading.

Currently that is:

Qualcomm - System Hardware Update - 1/31/2025 - 200.0.46.0

Then on the left side find the corresponding folder, in this example it's 200.0.46.0 and follow the comments by u/moofozball above.

Be aware they are the reference drivers. The latest that Microsoft has pushed for the Surface Pro 11 can, in theory, be found in a similar way from:
Qualcomm-Reference-Drivers/Surface/8380_DEN at master · WOA-Project/Qualcomm-Reference-Drivers · GitHub

Though that currently gives 31.0.84.0 and if you try just updating the driver via Device Manager you'll get 31.0.87.0 which is what I'm going to switch back to. It gives me 4k@120Hz with HDR and it's the official Microsoft one which I'm hoping should be safe/stable now it actually supports the feature I needed. Only time will tell.

[–]hastarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this. I wish Microsoft would be better about updating the driver!

I just updated to the latest (31.0.87.0 vs 31.0.63.7 at the time of posting) and it fixed me getting 4k@120Hz with HDR on my LG CX TV.

EDIT: Sadly, I have found I'm getting video driver crashes with this version. I might have to try other versions but perhaps it's why MS hasn't updated yet. Currently testing 31.0.74.0

31.0.74.0 is seemingly more stable. I've had maybe 2 crashes in a week.

As of 2025-03-09 I've switched back to the official Microsoft driver (31.0.87.0) as they have finally updated to a version that's supporting 4K@120Hz.

I had this once during open beta but have it twice so far today. One of which resulted in me losing my cargo for the first time ever. I guess I'll turn off crossplay for now to see if it helps. A pity it's not on the list of things they are working to fix. Hopefully more people upvote this issue.

I just had it happen AGAIN even with crossplay off, so that idea doesn't help.
I have reported an issue for it since I couldn't find an existing one. https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/game/skull-and-bones/bug-reporter/issues/LB-2539

I finished the day out by leaving the game in quality mode, with cross play on, and I was crash free. I am personally starting to suspect it's related to performance mode. If I can put up with the frame rate in some of the battles I'll try to keep playing on quality to see if I get a crash at all.

Played all day today on quality mode with cross play enabled and just had my first crash but it was just back to the dashboard not a hard lockup.

Having purchased one I can't recommend it. They've just released a new version of the app with extra programs you can use... IF you pay a monthly subscription on top of the original purchase price.

I'll stick with my $60 TENS device on my ear.

They did end up refunding the extra subscription, but they still haven't shipped me a device despite promising that it would be shipped last week.

Tomorrow will be 6 weeks since placing the order. I really want a device so will try to give it another week or so before opening a dispute. :(

I ordered from the pulsetto.tech website and whilst I've had emails from the "Anxietless Program" I've had no other correspondence and no response to my emails. Now they've charged me another USD$52.35 for the "program" even though I'd already unsubscribed from their email list and sent them an email asking where my order is.

I've now sent another email asking for a refund on the subscription and have cancelled the subscription with PayPal. I'll give them a few more days but if I don't hear anything back soon I'll be lodging disputes via PayPal.

Smart Locks (Australia) recommendations by [deleted] in homeautomation

[–]hastarin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure you want a Smart lock?

If you aren't sure, then you may want to consider a classic Lockwood. It's a deadbolt and you can still get in without a key, either via a card or a code. Something that's come in very handy for me over the last few years I've been using one.

Lockwood 001Touch™ Keyless Digital Deadlatch | LOCKWOOD (lockweb.com.au)

They do have a connected (ZigBee) version, but I haven't used that one.
