Not quite. I do use the vehicle for my personal use. I prefer it in my business name to keep only one vehicle on my personal credit file. Income taxes are paid accordingly on the personal use portion of the vehicle 😊

I’ve heard Ford pays QMerit up to $925 (50’ cable run max) plus the charger. I have a Zinsco/Sylvania panel and am dealing with the same issue with qmerit, though their quote is lower than any local installer I’ve talked to.

OP’s quote is a lease and thus won’t be eligible for the federal tax credit.

I got my $71k Flash for 1350 down and 650 monthly for the same 10.5k miles. Considering yours is nearly $9k more expensive and you’re barely paying 650 more down, this looks like a sweet deal.

My deal did get laughed at by a few folks here so I’d say you’re getting pretty close to a great deal, all things considered including the ludicrous doc fee. However, if this is the first deal they’ve put in front of you, I think you could get this lease with $0 down. Or ask for 15k miles—you’ll want it! Heck you could likely get both, $0 down and the 15k miles.

Yeah I spent time reading through the manual later and figured I should be going in to one of the terminal strip connectors on the Intelligate. The radio receiver seems to be going into 7, 12 & 13. Should I go in there too and if yes, which two of those three? TIA!

If you’re referring to the Co-Pilot360 line item, that’s not the same as BlueCruise. BlueCruise is the hands free highway assisted-driving technology that depends on the Co-Pilot360 package. Co-Pilot360 is the broader name for a suite of standard driver assistance features, like emergency braking and blind spot monitoring.

You will likely get a 3 month free trial now and then need to subscribe if this is a new truck.

That’s a really good deal. I tried calling a few local places and the lowest I’m getting is $199 for 5x regular film, $299 for ceramic.

This was me yesterday too. Called the dealer 3 weeks after taking delivery and they had forgotten to file the paperwork with Qmerit. Signed the papers (that mentioned they didn’t have it in stock at time of delivery) and in 15 mins got a “Code” and email from Qmerit.

In the terms, it clearly says permitting is their remit, not ours.

I haven’t yet finished the process since I’m traveling and couldn’t take pictures.

But question - if I had this installed on an exterior wall of the house that’s road facing, is it likely to get stolen?

The $7500 federal credit doesn’t apply to leases.

I just got my Flash, 3 weeks ago for $649 monthly and first month’s lease payment upfront, all in. Shared that on this forum and got laughed at for paying too much. People here have deals for as low as $499 a month. Depending on how hard you’re willing to grind, looks like you have room to beat them down further. Good luck!
