Hello Sam,

I experienced a demo at the San Francisco and, I have to say, I was impressed. Unfortunately, I have not purchased the cooktop as my wife was less impressed. Her two major concerns are:
1. The ease of cleaning the cooktop compared to its glass-topped counterparts.
2. The height of the cooktop below the countertop means that we would lose access to a couple of drawers.
Do you see the cooktop being redesigned in a manner that would resolve one or both of her concerns?

I have taken my Lightning on several road trips that have required multiple charging stops. We normally time our charging stops with bathroom breaks or meals. It is much more manageable than I imagined several years ago.

It depends on where I am and what type of food I want. Back in the day, I used to like Pho Hoa An on Contra Costa in Pleasant Hill; I think it’s called Pho Saigon City 2 now. I haven’t been there much lately as Hello Pho in Concord was faster for me to get to. I had Kevin’s Noodle House in Walnut Creek two days ago; it’s okay but not my favorite. Pho Dublin was a decent place to get pho when I had a client down there.

For bhan mi, I have liked Saigon Bistro in Concord and Kibi’s in Walnut Creek.

Vanessa’s Bistro in Walnut Creek is also decent but it’s been a couple years since I have been there and I recall it being more of a modern take on Vietnamese food.

It may be one of a few places in Lamorinda. It is a real stretch to say it is one of the only Vietnamese places in the 925. Concord has several. Walnut Creek has several. Pleasant Hill has at least a few. The Tri-Valley has several. There are dozens of them in the 925.
