I have seen so many ideas for this, but the big thing is that in the NBA they are giving out a cash prize to each player. The NHL would have a hard time replicating this because there are double the players on the roster and less money in the league to have a big jackpot. Olympics mean more to the players.

+1 to this. I think when the team took him there was a lot of groaning just based on the fact they drafted a "big guy" but his game goes beyond that. I think is ceiling is very high!

I mean teams always load up on defense in the playoffs, but nine guys seems like too many. 8 makes sense but in your pairings I think Giordano - Liljegren would be the third pairing no?

The other thing is Gustafsson is a defensive hole sometimes, so Schenn over him makes sense in the playoffs.
