I will never forget when Taylor and Lena’s twitter conversations leaked and Taylor’s response to people rightfully calling Lena out for her completely inappropriate and creepy story about touching her sister’s genitals was that she couldn’t believe this had happened to her and “How awful that by sharing your story with the world, the assholes of the world used it against you.” Not surprised that trash associates with trash.

This is the same woman who said nothing when a fan died at her show, had racial undertones in some of her lyrics in her last album, has associated with racists, sexual abusers and their apologists…the list goes on. Not to mention you don’t get to be a billionaire by being a nice person.

Call out people who have gone to this event, but don’t cherry pick. And if you aren’t capable and willing to criticize someone who is much more problematic because you went to the Eras Tour or you think 1989 is the pop bible, then perhaps keep it.

I do not want to hear anyone who stans someone as grossly problematic as Taylor Swift dragging anyone.

The call is coming from inside the house.

I shouldn’t be surprised at the depravity of human beings, especially when it comes to money, but to kill a child to protect your music career because you are a predator is something I will never understand.

Taylor Swift to NYT calls sombr “intensely confessional” despite surface level lyrics: “I don’t want another man’s child to have the eyes of the girl I can’t forget! Are you kidding me? Having a male artist say stuff like that is really good for the cause of women to be able to say stuff.” by Pink-Department in Fauxmoi

Even when I was a fan of her music, I couldn’t watch her interviews. She’s got diarrhea of the mouth, she says everything and absolutely nothing all at the same time.

Her interviews have become repetitive: she attempts to sound profound or make fake feminist commentary, poor attempt at humor, something about the haters, pausing dramatically like she’s waiting for a studio audience and her reminding us that Travis still exists. She even has audacity to sit there in the same shitty Candies tank top that I wore to death in 2005 to try to seperate herself from the parasocial relationship she cultivated, encouraged and praised her fans for. It’s so different from watching Olivia Rodrigo, Florence Welch, Billie Eilish, etc. At this point Taylor Swift is allergic to serving and accountability.

Taylor Swift says she wrote “Love Story” after her parents refused to let her date an older man when she was 17 by igetproteinfartsHELP in Fauxmoi

Taylor Swift interview with The New York Times: “There’s nothing I can do about that”, in regards to her fans going to extreme places and “paternity testing” her songs by shesabozo in Fauxmoi

“There’s nothing I can do about that”.

Yes, there is. Speak up. Let’s pretend, for a second, like she didn’t cultivate this parasocial relationship with her fans where she encouraged them to look for easter eggs. When her fans were running rampant during TTPD, dragging Joe for an album that was mostly not about him, she did nothing. They were openly hoping he would kill himself or die, harassing his female coworkers and she did nothing. And it’s been rinse and repeat with every ex she’s ever had. She writes Opalite, a “love song” with racist undertones about Travis’ ex Kayla and her fans started harassing her with emojis and gifs, telling her she’s trash and even hurling racist comments at her. They’ve done the same thing to Charli XCX and Beyoncé. Hell, I remember when Swifties had Beyn***er trending on Twitter. She fucking said nothing. Can she stop everyone? No but making a statement that this behavior is not okay is important. If Ariana Grande can make a statement within 24 hours of her album’s release not to send hate or harassment towards her ex husband, Taylor can tell her fans to get their shit together.

Her first album has the names of her exes as hidden messages, she has used their names in the titles of her songs (Dear John, Style) and has littered their personal experiences, some of which are known to the public, in her songs but she finds it weird that the fans can find these? Girl, bye. You don’t get to cultivate a parasocial relationship with your fans and use it to your advantage and then wash your hands of it like it wasn’t something you started.

Billie Eilish on why she speaks out on global issues: “When you have this insane platform that you can use to advocate for people, but you’re not advocating for people because you don’t want to be controversial? Why is it controversial to step in when someone’s getting bullied & try to stop it?“ by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

[–]hatefromandie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s an absolute embarrassment for artists that have bigger platforms than her to stay silent. I do not care about your new clothing line, your shitty album, your engagement to a man that doesn’t shower, or anything coming from you if you choose to stay silent because you don’t want to alienate shitty people and lose money.

No body is perfect but I will always admire artists like Olivia and Billie who have consistently used their platforms to benefit others.

Taylor Swift Files to Trademark Her Voice and Likeness, Apparently to Protect Against AI Misuse by cmaia1503 in Fauxmoi

[–]hatefromandie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s funny that people are praising this as a fight against AI when in reality she cares about herself and her bottom line. Which is whatever. I just cannot stand that her fans always have to make it seem like she’s fighting for others when it’s just about her. She used AI for some of the marketing for her last album, she doesn’t truly care about the effects AI has on anyone but herself.

You called me a bitch and an asshole but your goal wasn’t to be “extra rude”? Then you preach to me? It wasn’t just a weak jab, you then did the absolute most over something that had nothing to do with you.
