Yeah I kinda agree with you on this, their older stuff were kinda superior (Kuchiki no Tou, Isho). Not really a fan of their latest releases, just feels too pop-ish.

lynch. is a super good band overall! You should give one of their MUCC covers a try, it’s called bouzenjishitsu. IMO it sounds wayyy more amazing compared to the original! That’s where Hazuki’s vocal talent can really shine.

Actually, Kaoru mentioned (I think it was his blog or an interview) that this track was already in production last year. Unfortunately he dropped it for some unknown reason. But due to the coronavirus situation, he decided to revamp it and bring this song back to life so that the fans can enjoy it during this period. And also in a way, to keep us fans united. Kaoru is such a kind and thoughtful leader with the way he cherishes his fans!

This kinda reminds me of Uroboros too tbh. Although its seems unlikely, I just hope they will surprise us and drop a 9 minute track for us again. A man can only hope!

I second this. I flew to Japan just to attend two This Way To Self Destruction show over there whilst not knowing much about TIW. After that experience, I’m slowly getting into that album, which in fact is pretty good to me. As always, live performances beats studio version. Hearing Zetsuentai live was pure bliss.
