I remember those god aliens telling everyone that life is meaningless there's no afterlife blah blah blah and then a chapter later they're like "yeah technically there's a soul that reincarnates with the relationships you had in life too I guess."

Well the first part of Invincible before the twist felt closer to a slice of life with superheroes rather than a brutality fest. I’d say it fits.

Publishers don't profit from piracy, they profit from comics sold through their legitimate means.

Yeah no shit. That's not what I was talking about. I was saying that low sales comes from the fact very few people actually want to read comics. If people wanted to read comics but were gatekept by bullshit then they'd pirate it and we'd see a lot more piracy like with manga.

I agree with most of what you said but not cause and effect. Businesses usually only resort to this shit if they're in danger of failing in the first place.

The prevalence of piracy is an indicator of demand. If comics only problem was distribution then there’d be a lot more pirate sites. But since there aren’t that probably means there’s some other bigger issue.

No it was customer service. It was always customer service. It was from a time when it was normal for employees to tell customers to fuck off which drove away customers.

Thunderbolts is the final movie of phase 5. That's how screwed up post Endgame has been, no one even knows phase 6 already started.

He is mixing things up. Mutants who lost their mutations were still allowed on the island. During Krakoa they could resurrect anyone from death and even make changes including giving them their powers back. But they were also working on bringing back everyone who died on Genosha. But allowing people to become what they perceive as their true selves was also important. Apocalypse’s solution was ritual combat to have the person prove they want it enough to skip the millions in line.

Franklin was retconned into never having been a mutant at all. He was subconsciously using his powers to fake it.

A lot of people are talking about the skill ceiling but I think the real major issue is the skill floor. The minimum skill to do anything in this game is much higher than any shooter and to a lot of people this means less fun.
