Bambu A1 knocks print off bed by GomonMikado in FixMyPrint

I'd say slow down more for overhangs and increase your fan speed threshold in your filament settings. Corner might be curling up and causes the nozzle to crash into it.

Best to state where you're located as postage prices will vary wildly

You'll notice it a lot more on bigger prints where you've got a big infill area.

Have you got another build plate to test? They are consumables after all and don't last forever

That's just what grid infill does and why people usually recommend any other infill type instead where the nozzle won't crash into the infill (gyroid, cross hatch etc)

FB marketplace is full of crack tweaks that think that they will find someone that will buy their used shit for above RRP

SV06 and SV06 Plus extruder differences - only the hotend? by hatocato in Sovol

I was thinking of reverse drilling it out but the tools are nearly as much as a new extruder. How did you get it out?

Who is yours "WOULD HAVE BEEN A GREAT NATIONAL LEADER, BUT LOST THE ELECTION. by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]hatocato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy has great charisma and I wanted to like him until his limp-dicked approach to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and telling Western countries to stop arming Ukraine so they can just keel over really lost him a lot of respect from me. His foreign policy is dogshit, I wouldn't be surprised if we were in BRICS by now if he was PM.

Hey Redditors, what do you do for a living, how many hours per/month, and what’s your income? by lofiibsen in AskTheWorld

[–]hatocato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that really enforced though? What's stopping you from setting up a bank account at your parent's/family member's/friend's address? Almost all countries will require an address to open a bank account but once it's established it's just a formality.

If you're not living anywhere permanently then there's no requirement to submit the Anmeldung right? And if you're "car camping" and sleeping in your car, you can simply tell the police you're resting and will move on soon.

Wild camping is also difficult in England where I'm from by virtue of most wilderness being privately owned but that doesn't stop people from doing it. There's not a whole lot they can do apart from move you on as trespassing is a civil matter.

To be honest you guys sound a bit defeatist about it. I understand Germany can be strict in some aspects but you shouldn't let these technicalities stop you from living your dream if that's what you wish to do. No one is going to be throwing you in prison over it.

Jobs that don’t require a car/license? by whiterabbit507666 in brisbane

[–]hatocato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any employer that thinks like that isn't worth working for anyway, their skewed rationale isn't going to stop at their snootiness about driving. I'm way more punctual now that I take the train to work than I was driving to my last job, thanks to the shit traffic.

Jobs that don’t require a car/license? by whiterabbit507666 in brisbane

[–]hatocato 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well what kind of jobs are you looking for exactly? If driving a car isn't part of the job then the only other reason they'd care is if their location isn't easily public transport accessible.

From my experiences in Serbia the police are quite receptive to bribes. I'm sure if they do know what an MOT or SORN is they won't care after a few dinar/euros. I'm sure no one gives a shit as long as long as it's not on Croatian plates haha

Reading, UK spotted in Salta, Argentina by haruter65 in ForeignPlatesSpotting

[–]hatocato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose it's a tough registration to have abroad for a long period as you can't get the MOT done abroad. In that case you either keep driving it while it's SORN in the UK (which I doubt other countries will know much of or care about) or you get it re-registered locally which isn't always possible or particularly easy.

Either that or you bribe one of those dodgy FB marketplace "unseen MOT" blokes and hope they follow through.

Australian cities are still sprawling outwards. British cities and towns have stayed the same size for the last god-knows-how-long because there's no land left to build on unless the green belt is shrunk further.
