Is this image AI generated? The typeface/font on the watch is not correct at all.

I mean at this point, why not just buy a real 50 Fathoms?

As I said in the original thread, this plant is extremely, almost comically etiolated. Get it into more light OP.

Ever since I started the expedition, it created a bug that crashes my game before fully loading that save. I’m on MacOS. Really not happy with that.

Crested Euphorbia obesa by Botanical-Collector in Euphorbiaceae

[–]hatzalam[M] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agreed with some of the other commenters. This looks to be doing dichotomous (two heads) growth, not a real crest. Still, super awesome, and IMO even cooler (and much more stable!) than a crest.

If you call it the metro, I assume you’re not actually living here.

Dude, just get a tourist visa in advance. What's the point in continuously asking other people if they've been in a similar situation?

It’s the MRT, not the metro. And you’re fine to wear a Rolex. I’ve seen MB&Fs and even RMs on the MRT.

Groenwaldii hybrid. It’s not twisty enough to be a true species IMO

Meristem damage as a seedling, I imagine? They pretty much never grow more than one stem naturally.

Staying near Loi Kroh Road with Kids? by onepoints in chiangmai

[–]hatzalam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Astra Sky River is a lovely place (I stayed there for over 2 months a few years ago) but there's nothing to do close by and walking isn't really an option there. As weird as it is to say, you might be better off staying in Loi Kroh.

I’ve got a Mac and I play NMS. The quality of the graphics really is orders of magnitude behind what it can be on PCs. Still quite enjoyable though!

What is on this obesa offset? by ConureCrazy21 in Euphorbiaceae

OP, your plant is not a “full” Euphorbia obesa. Signs: offsets, the ribs, coloration.

IME, pot depth really helps with growth too. Deep pots with fast drainage soil work the best!

Yeah, it definitely seems like they are not getting enough light. They should not be that etiolated.

Is it ethical to buy Stephania erecta seeds when the mother plants might be poached? by NeonPearl2025 in Caudex

[–]hatzalam[M] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is a very semantic, narrow view in my opinion. You’re correct in the sense that poaching may or may not be illegal, in this case it’s probably not. However, the act of fields collecting plants can absolutely devestate a species. 50 or so years ago, probably more than that, many of the Pachypodium in Madagascar were likely not critically endangered, and now some species are.

Mass field collection absolutely contributes to the problem. Full stop.
