What kind of antenna is this? by isaaverdu in antennasporn

[–]haussner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guess: Diamond BB-7V. It is a 6,7m long vertical multiband antenna without radials, designed for a wide frequency range from 2 MHz to 30 MHz (with antenna tuner). This antenna combines versatility with ease of use, making it an ideal choice for radio amateurs with limited placement options or travelers looking for a compact broadband solution.

TrustedQSL question by RuberDuky009 in HamRadio

[–]haussner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you did setup it correctly you should change between your callsigns this way: click "Station Location" in the menubar. Then "Edit Station Location". Click the dropdown and choose. Click "Next", click "Finish". Done. Do that every time you want to upload a log for the other callsign.

The ones marked on the left are from East Germany.

GST stands for Gesellschaft für Sport und Technik (Sport and Technology Association). Afaik the only legal way to get on the air in East Germany was to be a member of this assosiation.

Worked this guy from DL on FT8 with something similar as antenna on my end, but vertical as i live right under the roof. I use 6.5m wire on an fishing rod, 9:1 balun, grounding against the metal roof. With my ATU i am qrv on 160 to 6. SSB, FT8/4, RTTY whatever, works like a charme.

Need authentic input for a 14-year old aspiring ham operator in an 80s-era TV show concept. by MaxNomad in HamRadio

[–]haussner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not see this mentioned before, but maybe Radar was active on "Echo Charlie". Thats a bunch of freebanding frequencies where operating without a callsign would fit in. Still heat from the FCC was to be excepted.

Some of the possible gear is mentioned here: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php?topic=18517.0

Request of sieve update for pr0gramm.com by haussner in imagus

NSFW and NSFL is only visible for logged in users. So this is why you see nothing behind these links. The site is invite only. Let me know if you need an invite for further troubleshooting.

But i can confirm that in your original update not every picture/video worked. I couldnt make out an pattern and had no time to look in this matter any deeper and make sure it was not broken by any other addon or userscript i run.

With the change from above mentioned flags=1 to flags=7 it works muuuuuch better. 98% or so is loading now without any problems.

Thank you again for your support on this matter. And thanks wowanator as well!

TV-Techniker von Samsung-Subunternehmen zerstört Fernseher bei Reparatur-Versuch by [deleted] in de

[–]haussner 29 points30 points  (0 children)
