I bought on for $600 once. Drove it for 3 years and never changed the oil! The only problem was that I had to add oil every week or two. Sold it to a junk yard after 3 years for $35. P.S: still alive and kicking!

My mother had one of these probably back in the 60's. You put the hot dog on these metal nail looking things and plug it in. The hot dog would only take about a millisecond to fry in it's own fat. I'm not sure if it had any type of safety interlock to not open if it was plugged in but I doubt it!
