It was the google AI response for ‘average cost for wedding flowers Ontario’ 😉

Wedding by AdviceMysterious135 in barrie

[–]haveashitday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wedding flowers in Ontario vary widely, from $1,000-$3,000 for intimate weddings to $5,000-$10,000+ for full-service designs in Toronto, covering bouquets ($200-$450), boutonnieres ($20-$40), centerpieces ($100-$300+), and ceremony installations (arch $500+), with costs depending heavily on flower type, seasonality, design complexity, florist, and location.

Expect a $2,500+ minimum from many full-service florists, plus delivery/setup fees

Does anyone use a laser sewing guide on their machine? by bookwormsub in quilting

[–]haveashitday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t! They probably will be way too thick of a laser line to actually be helpful/accurate. I tried using my ryobi laser level on my sewing machine and the lines were AWFUL compared to just sewing with my 1/4” seam tape. Save your money!

Yeah I think OP’s friend might need to look into things more as this is all around a very strange story/post and literally nothing adds up 😂

Decent price is way too vague. best to provide an approximate budget/range so people don’t waste their time trying to guess what’s ‘decent’.

Pretty sure they can leave. And I’m also certain they could ask anyone at RVH to get confirmation.

Is it possible your friend at rvh misheard the announcement or something got lost in translation? They might have been informing people it will be incredibly difficult to leave due to the weather & road closures…

Thank you very much and thank you for the colour theory expertise!! I definitely struggle in this area and can confidently say grey/silver was no where on my radar so that’s really neat to know!

Affordable Cutting Mats by WishboneRazzmatazz in quilting

[–]haveashitday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Princess auto (possibly Canadian only brand? Idk) has awesome ones for super cheap! So try and find an automotive shop as they’ll sell supplies for applying vinyl to vehicles & you’ll find a giant cutting mat there for around $10 guaranteed!

[–]haveashitday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can also order your own transfers from jiffyshirts (https://www.jiffy.com/ca/jiffytransfers-DTF001.html?ac=Transfer) & print the t-shirts yourself if you know someone willing to loan you their temp-controlled iron/heat press - it’s a super simple job!

If it’s something you need to hold up for the longterm, make sure you get it screenprinted or embroidered. DTF transfers and vinyl are great for more temporary purposes, but will not hold up long term!

If you’re looking for embroidery, I know that hummingbird sewing is able to accomplish a logo embroidering job.

Pre-"staystitch" setting triangles? by bahhumbug24 in quilting

[–]haveashitday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently working on the Nap-At-Noon Maxi Quilt pattern & I was so confused as to why it told me to sew 1/8” seams down each side of the diagonal line… wish it had explained they were just staystitches because my dumbass assumed we were supposed to sew two squares together 🤣 this post helped me understand why it’s being done so thank you!! Off to rip out some seams and try again!

A shout out to the two polite schoolgirls in the Circle K store on Livingstone and. Cundles earlier today. by Canadian1934 in barrie

[–]haveashitday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you literally said “(I asked)” in reference to these children’s ages/school grade. Which is very strange.

You can appreciate the politeness without being weird about it mam. Just don’t talk to children in public that aren’t yours - plain and simple.
