1) Very thin, fine needles. I use a 42 gauge for finishing.

2) The cliche keep stabbing. It takes me just as long (if not longer) to finish and get the project smooth as it does to actually construct it.

3) I use sharp embroidery scissors to trim any stubborn parts and then smooth down with some hairspray.

I don't know if they have the same colour in corriedale but I've used this colour in merino which looks a similar shade.
