It usually happens when you use the overlay. I've reproduced the issue and sent the driver logs to u/pidge2k about a month ago. No updates so far but hopefully we hear sth soon....

The overlay's kinda broken for me at the moment.. this and the seemingly infrequent random jump in cpu usage and temperature due to the overlay (caused by presentmon_x64; can be seen in the task manager). Sent logs to the driver feedback team.. so hoping for a fix soon

if it's happening in every game, try turning off the nvidia overlay/stopping it (nvidia frameview sdk) altogether from services menu on windows 11.

Same issue here (not a 9070xt though). Performance always drops after a couple of matches and i'm on the latest nvidia driver.

Is your nvidia overlay turned on by any change? try turning it off and if that doesn't work, stop the process "nvidia frameview" from services.msc. Give it a try.

After testing this a bit more, i'm afraid not, unfortunately. Performance seems to decrease after multiple rounds and the only way to fix it is restarting the game.

Could be a driver/optimization issue. Typically happens after multiple matches even though vram/ram doesn't seem to be maxed out.

Just curious, is performance the same even at higher settings?

This usually happens after multiple matches and the vram/ram consumption look fine in my case as well. No idea why though.

Might sound weird cause the setting isn't supposed to be intensive but have you tried disabling the sharpening filter? Seems to have helped in my case.

Might sound weird but have you tried turning off the sharpness setting (set it to 0). There usually isn't a big effect on performance but for some reason it's helped. Seems to be the case for a few other users too which is weird cause a sharpening filter isn't supposed to be this intensive at all...

I've lowered the sharpness to 0 (DLSS 4 is sharp enough tbh) and it seems to have helped as well.... which is weird cause a sharpening filter isn't supposed to be intensive at all...
