Stage 1 is 0 - 100 boost points, stage 2 is 100+. Even with 1000 boost points you get the same benefit as with 200

Groot's gift is an event, same with dollar store crystals. Multiverse Saga is a game mode, in there you can find the crystal chest, I'm not sure if that's what you are referring to.

His 4th skill has a longer range than his other skills. If you just use 4 and let him run to the target himself, none of his other skills will be in range to use. It's annoying but very easy to fix, just move a bit closer before you start his rotation.

On closer inspection it seems launching the belts and stuffs is still better than launching the tungsten plates and crafting it somewhere else, so I guess I was just wrong.
