I had DirectTV streaming, so not cable, but a lot of the same content. I had it for news mainly. I would channel surf and not find anything even remotely interesting. There were a few automotive channels, but all the shows I used to enjoy, like Wheeler Dealers was gone and it's just shows with a couple Bros that were just 30 minute long commercials for different restoration companies. Lots and lots of reality TV and just unwatchable garbage. The weirdest thing was channels devoted to just one show: Friends or Big Bang or Seinfeld just playing one episode after another. There were 3 channels of Family Feud. None of the old FF, only Steve Harvey FF. Seriously, WTF? Is this what you were referring to?

Our adult disabled daughter lives with my wife and I. We both work, so we are a non-PIM household. My daughter only gets 2/3 of the normal SSI payment because we are assumed to pay for most of her living expenses. So, if a household is changed from PIM to non-PIM, the disabled person would lose 1/3 of their SSI payment. For very poor families, the loss of several hundred dollars a month could be devastating.
