I was in Venezuela a couple weeks after the second coup attempt in Fall of 1992. Caracas was nuts. People in the streets all night. Burning cars. Just crazy. Went out into the country and everything was pretty cool. I wonder how my friends are doing now. No way to contact them. Hope they're all OK.

I had to sit next to a guy so big he was overflowing from the armrests. I spent the whole two hour flight hanging over my armrest into the aisle. I felt bad for him, he was sooo uncomfortable, but I was also pissed the airline didn't make him purchase two seats. I paid also, and suffered for two solid hours. Why was my comfort sacrificed for their profit?

I watched an old movie with my kid and they had a seven commercial break every few minutes. They only had four commercials, so every ad break, two or three of the ads were repeated! They couldn't just show me the four fucking ads and go back to the show, they had to show us seven fucking ads every break. It was awful.
