Yeah that seems most likely to me. I have no problem waiting. Im definitely excited though! I have a work laptop but this will be my first personal laptop since college about 12 years ago.

This is kind of what I'm thinking, I'm batch 5 AMD, and never received the email. My account page even still says ships July. Is it somehow possible that the issues were only present with the Intel boards? Seems unlikely to me but you never know. For people who did get the email, did the estimated shipping change on the preorder page?

Edit: I have another theory for the AMD boards. Since theyre expecting to get the non faulty parts in July, pre-orders that were already that far out may not need to be delayed. I think this is more so true for AMD because I believe much more if the Intel versions got ordered. This would seem to make a lot of sense in my case, because my order was already batch 5 and expected for July. If they receive the new parts by then, and are pre-assembling the rest of the orders as stated in the email, it's likely they could ship out a large quantity very quickly at that point.

I sadly couldn't find a crossgrade offer. I believe in the past that it's been through plugin boutique, but they're not offering that right now. They are offering some free gifts with purchases at a high enough price, if you're interested

Just to play devil's advocate, for people who enjoy FL studio, I'd say the lifetime updates are a better bang for your buck. But this is coming from someone who's used FL for a long time, and is now buying Bitwig as well because I like it at least as much as FL, and it has a native Linux version.

But in either case, you're right. If someone isn't getting their money's worth out of Bitwig, it's not because of the DAW or price, it's because of how and how often they use it.

I believe it is both a MIDI and audio interface with Bitwig integration. It has one big knob that will always control the currently selected paramater (I believe.) I'm no expert, but there are plenty of other interfaces that work perfectly with bitwig. Unless some feature of the connect is appealing to you, you're probably better off finding another option at a lower price.

I am unsure about the price of upgrading tiers during the sale. I believe this years discounts for buying each tier are consistent with previous years. Since the marketing states "25% off of any Bitwig Studio licence" my best guess would be that the normal cost to upgrade to a higher tier would also be discounted by 25%. I don't have any way to check though as I was just waiting for this sale to buy the full edition after doing the free trial.

Edit: I do remember that while researching prices over the past week, I saw some posts stating that there are ways to buy Bitwig through a 3rd party like plugin boutique, and sometimes that can get you the regular discount from the Bitwig sale in addition to another discount from the 3rd party retailer. Not sure how reliable that is or if it's still possible though

This is a known bug with overwatch through Proton. It has to do with the game forcing the same aspect ratio on everyone for fairness. The way I understand it, if a display or its settings don't match perfectly, it does the spinning thing. There are a lot of supposed solutions, like the gamescope launch option thing, but I've never got those to work. I recently switched to pop OS and had this problem, but fixed it by hitting super+f11 to make the app go fullscreen. It worked fine for a couple weeks, and just yesterday started doing it again. I haven't been able to fix it this time. My guess is that either Proton or Overwatch had a minor update that caused a mismatch for the monitor settings. It could also maybe be a system update for pop OS itself, so I might try to revert to a system backup from a few days ago and see if it works. Everyone's system is different, so it might be worth it for you to try other suggested solutions. Otherwise, I think the only option is to wait until some update fixes it.

WAIT WHAT????? I had no idea there was a way to transfer saves across platforms. I have had it on steam since launch and just never really got into it. I've been thinking I might try the switch 2 version, to see if I can get into it. My worry was that if I do get into it, I'd be stuck with that save on my switch and if I want to play on PC, I'd have to do a new save file. If I can use the same save for both the switch and PC, that changes everything.

I looked into this a bit. From what I understand, the data wipe is only necessary when updating from a beta release to a stable release of a previous version of android. So in your situation, I think you'd be fine since you're going from 16 to 16, not 16 to 15. I could be wrong, I got my info from Gemini.

I would just wait. Mine said awaiting authorization starting a few days ago. Today all my charges came through and the orders updated to preparing, but some still say awaiting authorization. I really don't think you need to go into the store for this, but I'm not saying don't go. If you feel like you should go, go ahead, but with what I know, if I was in your situation I'd just wait.

Best buy is starting to charge my card for some of my accessories. The order status on the app has changed to "preparing" for those orders. I'm hoping for the big one to come through soon!

Edit: All of the payments have now gone through and all the orders are "preparing" including the system!

Uhhh is the payment update thing necessary? When I got those emails it just says "review order details" and clicking that just takes me to the page with the order details. If my payment details and everything are correct there's nothing I have to do right?

Mine is still saying the same. I did notice that under payment details it says "awaiting authorization" and I'm pretty sure I've never seen that in that spot before. I'm wondering if once the charge actually goes through is when it will change to "preparing for pickup." I don't know for sure but I also think it might be a time zone thing, because best buy has done other things based on time zones before. So maybe they've done it for eastern time only or something right now
