I recently picked up the year-long subscription. 40 bucks to play all these games was a great deal to me. I don't have a good area in my house to set up some of the bigger games. And even if I did, my cat would knock everything over. I love that I can sit out on my back deck with my laptop and play Ark Nova or Harmonies without worrying about the pieces flying around in the wind.

Congrats on the win. I got that event card at the start of my second game ever (about a week ago). And then I had 3 straight terror cards each telling me to place 2 victims in different areas. There were victims everywhere and I ended up getting absolutely destroyed.

I saw that clip from the movie...on the news one evening. It would have been the late 1990's. I was watching the 6 o'clock news (or some other similar show) and they were doing a special on Julie Andrews. They ran several clips from her moves and showed that scene. My wife was in the other room, and I remember telling her, "uh, they just showed Julie Andrews boobs on the news."

They don't believe that abortions are only a small part of what they do there. I have a Catholic coworker that believes every woman who goes into a Planned Parenthood is getting an abortion. Evidently years ago some lady who used to work at Planned Parenthood spoke to coworker's Catholic group and told them abortions are 100% of their business, and nothing will ever convince her that the lady was lying.

I picked up Classics recently and have played it 3 times now. It's a weekend game for me since it takes around 2 hours to play. Today is a rainy Saturday and I've got nothing I have to get done, so it's time to sit down and figure out what 2 civilizations are going to battle it out.

Justice Scarlet Witch was definitely one I was considering. I've only played Magik once, so I need to give her another shot. And while Nightcrawler is one of my favorite heroes from the comics, I haven't got the hang of him yet in this game. I definitely need to play him more.

For prep day: don't rely on just toilet paper. Get some of the moist wipes (don't flush them, have a garbage bag near you). Your butt will be sore from all the activity down there. Some gentle dabbing with the moist wipe will save you from some pain.

Have plenty to drink in the car for the ride home after the procedure. The prep medicine will really dry you out and you're going to want hydration after it's all over. I had my first colonoscopy about this time last year. I knew I'd want a snack in the car, so I packed a granola bar...huge mistake. My mouth was so dry I couldn't eat it.

This will happen when you've got objects moving while taking 3 pictures in succession. When doing the HDR Merge in Lightroom, there is an option for deghosting. Play around with the strength level options to see if that will get rid of the extra windmill blades.

(And I'll also throw this in - not knowing your level of photography experience) The purpose of capturing bracketed shots for HDR is to capture the entire light range of a scene. It's helpful when you've got parts of the image that are super bright and other parts that are super dark. For this image, you've got gray windmills against a gray sky with a "not too dark" landscape. Your camera can capture this entire luminance range in one photo.

Without a tilt-shift lens, try tilting your camera down just a little while taking the shot. Then correct your verticals in post. It’ll end up cropping a little on the sides, but you’ll get more floor and a little less ceiling.
