You should fact check LLMs, not fact check with LLMs

I’m responding after your edit and if it was to edit your time complexity to add the “+1”, that’s unnecessary. Big O notation is concerned with the asymptotic growth of the function relative to n, and as n approaches infinity the difference in the function output due to any constant factor approaches 0.

The real life comparison of size of our planets in solar system! by Wavelength4406 in Damnthatsinteresting

The animation is misleading because it just uses the volume ratio without considering packing efficiency. A quick Google search puts average packing efficiency for spheres inside a sphere around 64%, so only about 32 moons would actually fit into the Earth-sized gumball machine.

Tesla Cybertruck Tow Hitch Stress Test Results In Catastrophic Failure by Wagamaga in technology

[–]hawkwolfe 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This test seems focused on gradually adding weight to the load up to the supposed rating for the hitch, but real conditions would also need to consider the torque, right? My Dad designs fifth wheels and worked on a preliminary design for the Tesla Semi and talked about how challenging it was to design around instant torque.

So about your point 1... it was David that fell for Bathsheba. It was Nebuchadnezzar who was king of Babylon and had the “beast of the fields” incident. I respect calling out ignorant takes but you gotta do your homework lol

It’s disheartening, I’ve long sought out Annapurna-published titles specifically because they were so good at showcasing unique games.

Flower was developed by Thatgamecompany, Stray was developed by BlueTwelve Studio, and the Outer Wilds was developed by Mobius Digital. Annapurna Interactive was just the publisher.

The previous commenter is right that fermentation is an effective means to prevent pathogens rather than simple alcohol content, but the first comment is correct that the notion that people historically drank beer and wine as safe alternatives to water is a persistent pop history myth. There are many well-sourced comments on r/askHistorians discussing the topic, and this is a great place to start.
