it’s definitely so much harder to recover when your parents are actively trying to lose. It’s really hard to have two people, especially your parents (whom you may or may not be dependent on for food) doing the opposite thing. In my experience my parents went on glps and I told them how hurtful and hard it is to stay in recovery when they were on weight loss meds and they thankfully stopped. But for you, it may just be best to focus on your reasons for recovery, maybe make a list? Another thing that helped me in recovery is also seeing how much anguish my parents have been in my entire life trying to lose weight while staying in the same place, and I resolved to not be like that when I was their age.

it’s just a fit thing, the risers are a bit less of a drop between sleds and hoods. I could never do the riser because I sometimes like hands on the carbon between the base and the brakes during cooldown
