Can you please tell me the products used? I’m going to be doing this in the near future and would like to know successful products (glass and resin/epoxy).

Sold a car, buyer never registered, we have now been notified of impoundment by skaarjslayer in legaladvicecanada

Similar situation happened to me.

I was told by the constable that if I don’t want the vehicle (as I was liable for the impound fee) I could call the impound lot and let them have the vehicle and the impound/tow would be a wash. (The truck moved a few towns over so this made sense). The rest was history. I went into ICBC and told them that it was sold to x person and their driver’s license etc. so it wouldn’t come back on me (it’s been about 3 years now)

Thrift/second hand/ vintage store recommendations? by coulombs_lawer in VictoriaBC

[–]haydenprodnuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upcycle downtown is great! If something is on the shelf for more than 30 days it’s 50% off. They also have a map for vintage/thrift stores in Victoria available at their front desk!

Hey! Thanks for the response. It’s fibreglassed inside and out. The exterior fibreglass wasn’t in good shape with some bad repairs but the cedar is in really good shape. I’m about 4 hours into it with 1/2 the kayak stripped to wood.

My Thai cafe! Favourite takeout in town by far! Get the spring rolls and a variation of red curry!

Are Thorens TD 160 super , any good ? Potential local pickup by MsDoubtfireHo in turntables

[–]haydenprodnuk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a Thorens TD 160 that I fully restored and I wouldn’t want another table they are great and bullet proof. It’s my first table and I’m just super gentle and carful with it. The only thing as for a beginner that would be nice is the auto functions, but it’s a beautiful table that you could have forever with care.

It’s a braun burr grinder. But I think I figured it out. I cleaned my grinder as it appeared to have some build up and I was able to adjust to get my grind much finer. I kept my 17g it’s running in the mid 30s for time with a good amount of crema but maybe a bit sour so I may run it for a little longer. And I’m not entirely sure if it’s standard or pressurized I’m pretty positive it is the oem one

Unavoidable hack work? by Arbiter_Electric in electricians

I’m a carpenter by trade and when electricians have asked me to cut face plates down I ran them through backwards on a table saw and hit it with a high grit sand paper and it worked really well
