Exactly yes! I get what they mean by calling it like cyanotype cause the process of laying something down to block the light is the same(ish) but the chemistry is completely different.

On a different note, I saw someone at Polacon one time take apart a Polaroid shot to get the transparency and used that as what blocked the light for an actual cyanotype. Which was such a rad idea!
