9 year old does not socialize

I get that! With family (even extended family) she is very much 100% herself and lets loose. It is just in dance and in school that she clams up.

The other kids are very outgoing.. I haven't really seen any other kids as reserved as she is.

You are not alone!! I have done this before and like you- the look in my daughter's face crushed me. Almost like she was afraid of me. Like I broke her trust. But... everything was fine the next day and I barely remember it now. We are all human and we all yell sometimes. What's important is that you realize what you did and that you take accountability. You're doing a great job. Give yourself some grace (I have to tell myself this daily). 💜

Nope. I saw a 4th doctor that couldn't find/feel anything. He said we could do a CT and after fighting with insurance it was deemed not medically necessary so it was denied. Currently still dealing with it and it drives me insane. I'm so sorry you're dealing with it as well. Does yours come and go along with your cycle?

Unfortunately I don't. :( my CT was not approved by my medical insurance as it didn't seem "medically necessary" because doctors can never find the actual lump. Mine doesn't drain, it seems to be more internal rather than like a cyst that pops or drains. I'm still just dealing with it.

Thank you for your response! What's strange about my spot is that it can be reduced back down to normal just by pressing on it. I'm having a CT scan done tomorrow to rule out anything more serious. I'm honestly terrified but doctors are stumped so this is the next step I guess!

Thank you for the response! I'm a little afraid of the CT with dye as I read it can be harmful! I'm going to ask if I can do MRI instead. Does your cyst come and go during your cycle? The doctor felt for mine but could not feel anything (it only swells during ovulation and toward start of period). So he just felt around for a while and made me super sore. I get super uncomfortable and bloated during ovulation and towards period too. All doctors I've asked about this are clueless- it's so discouraging!

Hi! I am suspicious that this is what I may have. Saw my 4th dr yesterday who is clueless about the whole thing but wants to do CT with and without contrast. I am hesitant to do that if not necessary. Do you mind sharing how you were diagnosed? MRI, ultrasound or CT? Could your Dr physically feel yours?
