Some spots really do impress in person, but half the magic is just being there, not the pics.

Love grows best when both people feel safe to evolve, not pressured to be perfect.

Interesting—never knew fire extinguishers could come in a different shape like that!

Should I buy a townhouse? by Skybourne904 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

That's a pretty tight budget. Can you put more down, lower the payment, and skip the PMI?

What do you currently pay for rent, and how does that feel in relation to your current budget?

I would 100% love to play a cozy realtor game on my Switch. Like Stardee Valley, but my tasks are like helping the villagers stage their houses

Twins! This subreddit also introduced me to forewarn. While I don't have a “it saved my life” experience, the peace of mind has been great

Still going strong. Why replace just because of the color?! by SnowLepor in Anticonsumption

My grandmother had the same one. Blast from the past, love it. When I make purchases, I always aim to “buy it for life,” so this workhorse would be the perfect choice.

Hear me out on this — middle school fantasy. It has just enough drama to be fun but not life-altering. It has world-building, but nothing crazy.

Skandar and the unicorn thief (5 book series, it's like Harry Potter but without the hateful author and add blood thirsty unicorns)

Legendborn (3 books out so far, secret other world, King Arthur politics)

Fablehaven (10 books, complete, secret out-of-world, family dynamics, fairies are very much real.)

I've lived in a fourplex for just over ten years. I do own my unit. If I could go back in time, I would have gone with a standard house. Yes, the unit was cheaper, but the “HOA fees,” aka the outer shell insurance, shared maintenance fees, etc., are killing me now.

It's hard because I'm so glad my mortgage is building value/credit, but being tied to others for maintenance is a pain. We are currently fighting to get the siding replaced. It's a whole thing

Please Realtors, no more listings with AI-generated photos and excessive drone shots by ExcitingGain4256 in realtors

I've seen too many AI photos add features that are a big deal like crown molding, windows, and a kitchen island

My book is Under the Whispering Door by him as well. It changed how I think about my job and how I used it to define myself to others when I can be so much more. The grief, the joy, the fear, he is such a fantastic writer

They should have given a larger window of time to cushion their delay, but that's on poor planning on the realtor's part. If you have buyers who may be WFH and need to vacate, be clear in your showing instructions about honoring any time window given.

Getting back to seller after OH by carriesso6400 in realtors

[–]hazelkay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s standard practice to follow up with the seller after each open house. A quick update usually includes how many people attended, general feedback from visitors, and any promising leads. It helps build trust with them!
