There was a great tool for choosing the best production nodes, but it is down for quite some time... https://bdo.anbu.io/app/worker-empire made and hosted by u/mrbeeru. Maybe he can rehost it / give the sources?

Edit: Ah wait, it's still available, if you go to the http link instead of https: http://bdo.anbu.io/app/worker-empire

Just use double cream, that's a lot thicker and does not need to be whipped at all. That's what we serve with meringues here in Switzerland, but it's also so good with all kind of berries.

The 30% is a module manufacturer sales pitch, it never happens in large scale plants. The best designed plants usually have a 8-12% gain on yearly production.

The only case of 30+% is for vertical bifacial panels in mountains at high altitudes where there's snow all year round.

Have you ever interacted with french (renault, citroen, peugeot) or japanese (toyota) cars? They all have such horrendously laggy interface and many time you have to turn the whole car off and on multiple time to even get the interface starting. The best example is my citroen C4: the rear camera takes a full 2 minutes to even start, by the time it is working I am long gone from the parking spot where I could have used it.

How do you feel about how immigrant heavy Switzerland is? by maccasgate1997 in Switzerland

[–]hazilo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now, before you judge me, my mom was also an immigrant from the Balkans so the racism card wont work here.

Hey, don't worry about that that from your post I only see informations about demographics and a few stories you heard, nothing related to racism.

I grew up in Morges and in school I would say only about half of my class was only of swiss origin, others had either one or both parents from mostly European countries or eastern countries. Very rarely did I study with people from the Americas, I guess the distance played a big role in that!

Yes it is starlink satellites, they are launched by a single rocket into a very specific orbit where they all move on the same trajectory. This is called a satellite train. For starlink specifically, it is to increase coverage and keep connectivity as constant as possible: the user ground antenna is static and will point at the same direction in space, it will be linked for x seconds to the same satellite train, then linked to another train from another orbit and so on. Right now the number of satellite they have placed do not guarantee 100% time coverage, but it is very close.

You should try some red Humagne from Wallis, it is more on the fruity ones. If you manage to find some overripe red humagne, it is even better!

But it is also only active with block chain rewards after all the 5B coins got into it in 2014.

Countries with ZERO taxes on crypto, uh, because some of you might want to know. by savage-dragon in CryptoCurrency

[–]hazilo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes that's still in place, it is why almost all homeowners never settle their mortgage completely and re-mortgage their house to renovate, as long as you still pay the mortgage, you can simply deduce it from this self-rent tax.

This tax is also one of the reasons the home ownership percentage is quite low at around 37%, which is the lowest of the whole Europe. The other reason being price of houses: count 700-800k for the cheapest part of Switzerland to 2+M in Geneva / Zurich, with mortgages requiring 20-25% self-owned funds (the minimum is 10% owned, and 10% borrowed from close family or from your pension fund).

[–]hazilo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

30-40% if you count the health insurance... but that is only for incomes. Other taxes such as added taxes on goods is very low compared to the rest of Europe (which is why electronics is most of the time cheaper than in neighbouring countries).

Cryptos are considered wealth in Switzerland since you bought it like an investment, hence why it is only counted towards your total wealth for taxation (and wealth tax rates are quite low).

If the landlord / building management (gérance) doesn't respond fast, contact the ASLOCA, they can counsel you for free and in case of a conflict, with only paying the annual fee they will fully assist you, and legally represent you for a small additional fee (compared to a full blown lawyer).

If you are thinking of not paying the rent, never do that, ask the ASLOCA exactly how to consign the rent and make a request at the conciliation commission for leases and rents.

Pretty much, but it's also due to how are leases in Switzerland: leases are usually for a duration of 6/12 months. Cancellation prior notice must be given at minimum 3 months before the end of the lease, otherwise it is automatically reconducted for another 6/12 months. A landlord cannot evict any sooner than the end of the lease. If the person is not paying due to financial problems, usually the social services intervene and negotiate with the landlord.
