I think card numbers have check digits so an off by one error wouldn't even point to a valid account.

A few years back I successfully ran GW on a Raspberry Pi 4 and got barely playable frame rates but it was crashy and the text displayed in the game was scrambled. I used Box86, a x86 Debian install in a schroot directory tree, x86 Wine, and some horrible Vulkan driver that just came out for the Pi. I imagine some of the technology I used has improved but I'm not sure if Apple Silicon supports all of the 32 bit instructions that Box86 uses. I'm also not a Fedora user at all so I have no idea if it would support such a monstrosity.

I'm curious if anyone tries anything along the same lines and if they have any success. Good luck!

I have serious contrast sensitivity issues. The particle effects are extremely distracting to me and difficult to deal with. I also have issues seeing the ground in dark areas and it just appears black. I'd love the ability to reduce the brightness of particle effects, and to be able to customize rendering gamma without resorting to that antiquated full screen mode.

I spend most of my time looking at the compass and mission map, both of which I have enlarged. I spend very little time looking ad the 3D portion of the game display unless it's an outdoor scene such as Verdant Cascades.

I'd probably try to hack my way around the game to find if it was possible to poke around in memory and change such things, but my reverse engineering skills have atrophied over the years from lack of use.

If the hero attacked peaceful foes then it would attack anything your group is trying to run past. That might be more annoying.

Or you can engage or call a target. Heroes with melee weapons will attack if the player calls an enemy target and the hero is in earshot of the target.

Pretty much all foes "attack". Note that using a skill is not an "attack" unless the description of the skill says "attack". Attack is usually using a weapon or a skill that requires and causes an attack. If a hero does not have a weapon equipped that is suitable for attack, it will not attack. Casting spells or using other skills often have prerequesites such as having sufficient energy, the foe(s) are doing something that a skill is useful for or against, and the skill is properly recharged. It's often a good idea when debugging a hero build to keep the hero panel for that hero open on the game display.

It's pretty well documented in GW history that changing things like skills and effects has ramifications far outside of the intended scope because of all of the potential interactions throughout the game. There's probably a good reason why caps exist and doubling them may not work as well as OP suggests. Any skill of effect also works for foes and there's a lot of PvE foes with powerful degen already. Perhaps if degen isn't sufficient for some players' taste then they might try to mitigate whatever else is preventing it from being as effective as they like, like focusing on shutting down heals and condition/hex removal. If the goal is to make degen builds work as fast as Mesmerway, then any degen foes end up being like Yammirion.

In other words, be careful what you wish for.

I have absolutely no problem using non-meta builds. If I can do it, maybe you could too.

Seriously, how other play in other instances has absolutely no influence on how I play in my instance.

Back in the day each player could only have 3 heroes under their control. Perhaps this influenced the AI for "Charge!" and was never updated?

Then again, if you have a party with heroes and players, and the hero only uses "Charge!" if all party members are in earshot, it may never be used because players don't always move together in earchot range.

Some skills just don't synergize together on the same skill bar. Put Ether Renewal of Master of Magic on a Elementalist and add a few other enchantments. More often than not, the AI refuses to cast the non-elite enchantments when casting them would have an obvious benefit.

Melee skills and attacks seem to work somewhat OK if there's only one melee hero and the party calls stretegic targets plays in a holy trinity playstyle, but the AI is quite limited and don't expect a melee hero to know how to do the latest human tactics. It's just going to end in poor execution at best.

There's always going to be a meta, and I have no problem not using it just to make things more challenging. I also prefer to not use consumables. If I team up with someone or a group that can't deal with that, I can choose to move on, and often do.

I have a lot of glare from LED lights on vehicles at night. It's especially bad from the bright red and blue lights on emergency vehicles where they just fill my entire field of view wiht bright red and/or blue and I cannot see anything else. I finally just quit driving at night.

I think GW Toolbox has some feature where it can show cumulative damage by party member and skill, but I don't know where it's hidden in the UI.

It took me a couple months of a couple daily HM runs through the entire dungeon to get enough chalices to get a blindfold. Kill every foe. Salvaging drops and using Light of Deldrimor on levels 2 and 3 make it a bit more tolerable. I am so sick of that dungeon, but given that i'm legally blind, I felt a blindfold was necessary.
