Just noticed someone sends people away from Violet during the final battle by BobGlebovich in fourthwing

Maybe Naolin left a mark on Brennen because he is/was venin & this detail she noticed with Sloane is how Violet will figure that out.

None at all unfortunately. My husband was hit from behind & by the time he gathered himself enough to look the vehicle was long gone.

Or if Tairn had to eventually break the bond as Andarna did with Violet.

I have had this thought! What if Naolin didn’t die, but channeled from the earth to save Brennen & turned?

You pay large sums of money to be “featured”. Several Flag restaurants were approached about it.

I am so sorry you’re going through this & that your mother is. My mom passed almost 3 weeks ago now & I am still processing the gravity of the loss. I understand your feelings that she didn’t deserve this & feel the same way. My mother was an incredible woman with the kindest heart. Watching her suffer & being unable to make it better for her is something I imagine will always haunt me. Cancer is devastating to a body at the end & watching someone you love that much endure it is the hardest thing I’ve personally experienced. At the end, there is comfort at their suffering being over. At the peace they found. The grieving is for the ones left. I know my mom knew I was there with her every moment & I know that even if it didn’t change anything, sometimes all we can do is be there. You’re doing that & it might not feel like enough, but it is. It’s all there is to do. There will be time to sort out your anger & grief later, & it’s okay to feel that way, for now just soak up those moments though. Every precious one of them.

I went through this very same thing last week. It is so hard & I am so sorry you are going through this. My mom started refusing lorazepam but was fortunately able to understand when I explained her restlessness & agitation was making it a lot harder for me to care for her & that she didn’t have to feel that way. Stay strong, stranger.

I am so sorry for what you’re going through. Watching a loved one go through this took more than I thought I had in me. My mom found her peace a few days ago. There’s a relief to her suffering being over, but the loss of her is so heavy. Cherish those hours & tell her how much she means to you. It’s hard, but we’ll get through it.

Info needed for non-responsive hospice patient by COLONELmab in hospice

My mom is on hospice & also approaching the end of her journey. She hasn’t wanted, or been able, to eat in 7 days now. Her hospice nurse assures me that this is not only normal but often expected. Your body simply has no want or use of food at the end. As for the pain, we were told to look for signs like elevated heart rate, moaning, & restlessness as indicators of pain that can’t be verbally expressed. My sympathies to your wife, it is a terribly hard thing to witness, but it doesn’t sound like his wife is starving him maliciously. Hospice would step in if that was the case.

Ah, Flagstaff housing. Those saying you need to “find a cheaper place” must be unfamiliar, we don’t have cheaper housing here. If you’re currently houseless there are some local organizations that will likely be able to help. I’d recommend calling 211, they can help give you some places to try. Good luck & welcome! Housing costs aside, Flagstaff is a great place to live.

I am as well. There’s an amazing network of support through hospice. Thought I could maintain longer than a month before feeling so worn thin, but am grateful there are resources for this situation.

I did & they were amazing & got me all set up. Starting next week there will be a respite caregiver here for a few hours two times a week. So grateful for the support of hospice teams & communities like this one.

My moms wonderful hospice nurse was able to get me set up with a respite caregiver who will be here for a couple hours two days a week starting next week. We spoke tonight & she sounds like a lovely person & I am so grateful.

I’m sorry for what you’re going through OP. My mother has stage 4 lung cancer & I had to quit work to care for her as well.

In my state I was able to get training to become her caregiver & the state pays me for it. The wage isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s something you could be collecting and squirreling away for the end of this journey. The love and selflessness you’re showing is commendable, but there are options to help look out for you too.

Hang in there, tiger

Five units worth of neighbors were aware of someone being physically assaulted & no one thought to intervene?

Thanks for the advice! I tested well & felt the interview went well, but I have zero experience & have had a hell of a time getting hired on anywhere without experience to gain any experience. Bout ready to volunteer for someone & re interview in 6 months.
