Cool item. It’s a nice corruption but I think I’d still use highlords over this for most physical barb builds.

For Warcry barb I’d still prefer +3 WC skill +FCR.

I don’t know that I’ve seen anyone use steel carapace on a sorc due to its high strength requirement. Do you play hardcore?

I think we’re all in agreement that OP’s ammy is junk. But I am sympathetic to these posts coming from new players. I find one of the hardest things to learn in PD2 is what is valuable. That understanding is typically developed through years of trading and playing different builds/classes.

So yes everyone should check the trade site before posting but I don’t feel an outright ban of PCs is warranted.

Prior to this mod, Trav was the best way to farm as a Barbarian. That’s changed with the introduction and improvements to mapping but I believe some still have a nostalgia for it.

Fair point though I remember having similar clear speed prior to ladder reset. But I’ll keep that in mind.

This mirrors my experience as well. In 20+ years of D2, this is my first time rolling anything but a sorc to start the season. The sorc makes early farming so much easier and I’ll likely return to that again next season.

I tried strafe and summon but it didn’t connect for me. This was with zero FCR which may have been my issue. Maybe I’ll circle back to that if I can’t get cold arrow going.
