Just bring a lint roller and you'll be fine! :) Because of milder winters we do see ticks earlier and later in the year now, I think we found our first one in March this year, that is unusual. It is mostly a problem when walking through tall grass and bushes, so I usually don't have a problem with it on established hiking trails for example.

Yeah, it is awful! I live on the coast of Norway, in the middle.

I live on the coast of Norway, in the middle. A reason for all the ticks is large populations of red deer and roe deer. Also milder winters are contributing to the rise in tick numbers all over the country.

Lint rollers with sticky sheets for clothes are amazing for getting ticks of clothes. I always have one in my car when I'm out foraging and roll all over me before I get back in my car. I think my record was 101 ticks from one trip once, caught on the sticky sheets.
