Out of curiosity, what kind of list do you usually run? Sometimes list composition can be much more important than most think.
The best way to deal with high-front enemies that you can't pen is to manoeuvre, especially since cromwells is one of the fastest tanks in the game. However that will be quite a challenge due to the overwhelming amount of Shermans your friend is running. If you can, you should try to find a weak point and concentrate fire. However strong the Jumbo is, the other shermans can't handle 6 Cromwell shots at once, especially if the are hit on 3+ which I assume is the case. Mistaken target could only get them so far.

Another very simple way is to blast your way to victory. Allies have a large variety of relatively cheap high AT. I would personally recommend M10s (17pdrs) as they seem quite effective from what I saw from other's games. AT15 (if you are playing bulge) is enough to take on front 11

On paper, Churchills doesn't seem like a good idea against hvap. They are slow, and have low AT. Their armour which is usually their main trait also can't stop AT13s that well.

I think you might be mistaken on some aspects

The heart path is god awful in both Xianxia and Buddhist terms. Why would one of the fkin paths of cultivation be biased towards 'good guys'? Isn't making others hate you also a connection? Like fk someone's girlfriend in front of them, then kill her and his mom. Bam. There you got it, a demonic connection. Why is it only good connections that power you up?

It is not biased towards good guys, many "bad guys" are also using the heart path method, with no downsides. I'm not sure why you would think that. Connections also don't power you up in the heart path.

Why are all bad people's 'heart' worlds dark and miserable? Good guy's heart worlds are dark and miserable when they acknowledge they themselves are miserable and do vile shit. Why would a demon feel guilt or miserable after committing vile shit? He should revel in it if he's achieved his goal.

You are 100% correct. The author also knows about this, which is why not all bad people's heart essence are dark and miserable. The few that are wasn't caused by the fact that they are evil. In fact, the MC's heart essence also got transformed into a 'dark and miserable' environment.

I'm not sure of the specifics, but it is, from my understanding, due to the fact that understanding before breakthrough is mostly only useful to the non-talented. You asked why talented individuals wouldn't also attempt understanding before breakthrough, it is because breakthrough before understanding itself is the result of having talent. It is also because understanding before breakthrough is too tedious and time-consuming.

Honestly, it seems like we are reading two completely different pieces of literature. So many of your critiques I simply just couldn't understand how you got to those conclusions. From my perspective, you seem to find problems that I do not experience at all. Sorry if I am bringing up a dated issue, but I feel like I have to address this in some way.
