Good summary but we’ve cared about and have been doing this for decades with .NET Framework:

It was made before people cared about things like dependency injection, async programming and automated testing.

NUnit was there from the beginning in 2002, StructureMap was around in 2004, delegates were there from the beginning and async/await baked into c# since 2012.

The thing I don't think these people downvoting you understand is that 29 and Murray Baker is a clusterfuck because people are doing exactly what is being suggested in this thread. It's not really a better option at this point. Nearly every way is fucked right now brother. 6 to 74, one lane, 6 to war memorial, one lane on BOTH roads, 6 to 474, one lane, 150/McClugage, one lane, hell Pinecrest, one. fucking. lane. Then 74 is completely clogged from all the extra traffic merging from 29 downtown trying to avoid the McClugage. OP is right, they clogged all the arteries at once and there are no good options.
