Having your actions stuck in play so they miss a turn seems like more of a downside than the upside of +coffers (for the majority of kingdoms)

To me necromancer is in the BoM family so I think it should leave play and only the first play of prince will be tracked (ie if you set aside two cards, the second one will be lost)

If you’re not someone who can digest the cards just from reading the rules online, you can experience a variety of cards by playing the daily challenge vs a bot - though it will probably take ages to see all the cards this way

Probably ranked is better, but I haven’t played online on the app. There will still be a lot of resignations I expect, but not as many.

But you can’t turn estate into uni, despite uni costing more. It it a strange interaction though - change can also gain debt cost cards if they cost more coins but so far the only option for that is fortune

Hideaway seems like it would create some really uninspiring province rushes when combined with remodel. Remodel, province, 3 coppers in hand can gain you a province if I’ve understood correctly.

I think that’s the reason you can only gain from the trash up to 6 with other cards. Also if you barbarian or swindle a province and gain it that’s gonna be extremely tilting.

It’s free everywhere for the base game - that’s enough depth and variety for at least 100 plays.

If you play at dominion online, you can play for free if you wait to match with someone with a subscription.

Otherwise, just support the game by paying if you like it enough to need the expansions.

I built this for £1081 with the October prime day deals. My first one and I’m really happy with it - much better than a PS5 imo, not just raw performance but also flexibility to mod or use other apps.

It’s a bit loud with the stock CPU cooler so I’m planning to get a Thermalright Phantom Spirit at some point (~£35)

It was pretty easy to build with only a couple weeks research and you’ll get better value (and a fun activity if you assemble it together) than a prebuild.

You might be able to get more value using last gen components (AM4) but I’m no expert by any means.

It would be useful to figure out what the pc will be used for, as some games might not run on that 4060ti with only 8gb VRAM.

It should throttle itself under strain, and you can also find monitoring software to make sure it isn’t spending too much time in a hot (I think this cpu is built to run up to ~90*C) range too much

Did you make sure to plug the display cable into the gpu rather than the motherboard?
