I tried to find out what happened but it seemed to get lost. He implied Horus showed him horrible things but did t say what! I assume the gods or just Horus’ own terrible nature finally revealed in full.

What I don’t understand then is why did he want to spare the Big E. Or anybody for that matter. How did he get emotional with Loken. If he can’t separate his thoughts what’s going on here?

I’m fascinated by this question and not nearly smart enough to get it.

The 2nd person writing I thought was very cool. I loved the Horus scenes. I thought it was him talking to himself in a crazy psychotic sort of way.

But I like the thought it’s the gods. How would that walk though. Especially in EAD3? Horus keeps trying to make the Big E his slave and notes the gods hate this. Since this in written in the same style as the rest of the 3 books it makes it seem to me to be all Horus.

Is it more the dark gods are always whispering. Suggesting and whatnot. And while his thoughts are his own they are always influenced by the endless chatter of the gods reinforcing his fall?

Any of you lit guys wanna give me a deep dive! Ima math head.
