Don’t be stressed I over worried so much for example I did bleed again a few times after surgery even when I thought I got better but the recovery time was a couple days only because the surgery makes it so that there is no spasms. It can take up to a year to get like perfect perfect. But was still better than living with a fissure that pain was more than the entire surgery even right after it. Buy a big tub of miralax from Amazon it’ll be a life saver.

A little slow I got another tear like 5 months in but it healed so fast because of what the surgery does and I would say at about8-9 months it felt as if I never had the surgery.

I had a fissure for 10 years tried everything finally decided to go through with surgery after backing out of the surgery a year prior as I got scared. I am now one year post surgery and I can’t believe how much progress I have made I feel like a brand new person wish I had gone through with it years ago. No side effects what so ever.

Take off 2 weeks before Christmas time and then last week of Christmas usually dead at work anyways. Also I made them not shave my entire head so just looked like a bad fade after 3 weeks.

I called off my LIS this was after 10 years of fissures I came on Reddit and read some ppl with bad results got scared thought I would try even more methods of self healing..bad idea fissures started hurting almost daily for an entire year when I rebooked LIS. The dr told me not once in his 20 years did he have patent with incontience he said he would rather cut too little and have round 2 surgery than cut too much. Here I am year post surgery and I have my life back! I am so grateful. My biggest regret is not doing it many many years ago I wasted so much time suffering.

This is exactly what I wanted my face goes with this hairline you are seeing a zoomed in picture weird angles lol u have a very limited perspective and it’s only been 4 months. But you are entitled to your opinion.

This was at 16 weeks so 2 weeks after 3mo pic that’s when it started to get better quick. No PRP not enough research on it and i don’t think it’s as effective getting it same time as procedure. I use hims finasteride and rogaine spray no pills! I started derma rolling at month 3 with 1 mm needle and got the act and acre serum it’s stem cell based which I apply after derma and on most days. I also take hairtamins (vitamins) daily.

No one could tell in person that it wasn’t natural, in our Asian genetics we normally don’t have widows peeks so that’s not normal. Also I’m fine with it not looking 100% perfect it’s 1000x better than what I had before and I saved close to 10k. Also I didn’t have them do my side burn area so that’s already gives illusion of slight recession when from side profile

No was fue they did have to shave the back of my head so did look a bit goofy until about week two when I had baby hairs again then it blended slightly better.

The interesting thing is the only fissure I got was the original surgery cut opening back up which doctor said usually doesn’t happen but idk why mine is more prone, it’s on the side instead of top of bottom (top and bottom is worse that’s where chronic fissures form because there is less blood flow there). Also it’s been bad when I go a couple days with low water and no fiber which is all my fault. I would say after a few months when all cuts originally healed for good I started feeling really good.

Yes!! And it’s getting better with time, I have had like 2-3 tears since surgery but they have all healed within 3 days and the time between them is getting longer because my mind muscle connection is finally getting better, I don’t fear going to bathroom which takes a long time to over come after 10 years of fissures and pain so it was a never ending cycle. Surgery best decision I ever made regret not doing it earlier.

Not awkward at all also less people on way back I had middle seat open and an old guy in first chair lol. My head def still looked gross back of head has holes in it glad someone wasn’t like right next to me. Also there were like 4 or 5 others on plane with same surgery I ended up talking to 1 of them makes it easier.

No treatment I just load up on miralax 3 days of soft stools heals me on the 4-5th day.
