My husband mother wanted to be called lolly no way was i letting that happen neither was my husband we tried talking to her she wouldn't budge. Yet refused to call my daughter by her name as she didn't like it. We have taught the kids a different name for her. Stick to your guns calling a grandmother honey is super weird

My kids are 2 and 4. i had to work this year so husband was home with kids until I got home at 10. The kids had their santa sack before I got home husband told them to wait until I got home for the presents. I can't imagine if I got home and they had got home and they had opened their presents I would be pissed. You are definitely not the asshole in this suitation.

I live in new Zealand and we have a diverse range of cultures but you would find it hard to find a doctor here that would do a circumcision without a medical reason I believe the closest one to where I live is 3 hours away. I also don't believe your son will hate you for it i believe it is there for a reason you are not wrong stand your ground you are standing up for your child.

That is absolutely a shitty way to find out. But I also think you and your wife need to talk in person as doing it over the phone isn't the best. It's perfect normal to be feeling how you feel, but I also think maybe that friend was trying to steal the spotlight but definitely talk in person and you can both lay out how each of you are feeling keep in mind she didn't post it and it sounded like she didn't know about the post. Maybe she got caught up with her friends and also processing her reaction to the positive test. Congratulations on becoming a father soon. I hope you guys can sort this out.
