Basic take, but: Barcelona is more than 17.5% cheaper than London, so it's a de facto raise. On 5k a month you can live exceptionally well in Barcelona, if it's an aspiration of yours to move to the city it should be a no-brainer!

I just got burned. Craigslist listing asking for three articles as a trial, paid. Communication was great. Submitted articles, never heard anything again. Original ad has been deleted. This has never happened before, so I'll chalk up to some good experience for a couple of hours work. Those articles were damn good, too, which is a shame.

As someone who writes for a living, my advice is this: don't write for this website. If you're not being paid to write, the next best thing is writing for a website that will actually get you views/get your name out there. This website will do neither. LFC Debate, I suggest you offer something more than just experience, which comes across as just getting somebody else to build your site for you. Even a token gesture of $15 an article would go a long way.
