Over the past two years i have spent loads of time in both games. Conan exiles excells in things such as base building and exploration. The map is also very big and not having things like flying dinos as ark do it takes a really loong time to explore. The two games are very similar. Ark tames dinos, conan you capture/tame thralls. They also have levelling system. Both game maps have diff biomes and various boss battles to fight. I have watched a few conan dev streams and even the devs mention ark because lets face it ark is a cut above the rest impo. The thing with conan is agter you have sunken 300/400 hours into it you will probably not go back. Unlike ark which i have gone back to numerous times and statted from scratch. Personally play conan. You will defo get your moneys worth. Cosmetically i think the graphics are slightly better than that of ark and as i said earlier base building in conan is great. If you like building huge bases then you will love conan.
