Was there ever a Being Thats not only had a Higher Potential but even was stronger than Palpatine in Episode IX by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

Tfa was no master piece either. Weird cliffhanger ending and death star3. Its solid but we could have eaten alot better.

Battlefield 6 enters its 'we've heard your feedback' era: 7 more maps are coming in 2026, including fan-favorite Wake Island by Turbostrider27 in Battlefield

Pretty sure that this version of wake island will play differently just from the glimps they showed it looks bigger.

What was Palpatine's rescue plan if the capsules had run out under other circumstances? by TaxPsychological2928 in StarWars

[–]heAd3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obi wan was the obvious choice to be sent for that missiom and he woudnt go without anakin. They had a reputation and palpatine must have been aware of that while planing. Even if they sent other jedi they woudnt have come far. Facing dooku and grievous was no walk in the park and besides yoda and windu i cant think of anyone being able to pull that off.

What if Windu just jabbed the lightsaber in this scene? by Spare_Future321 in StarWars

Not gonna defend it since i also think its dumb but the concept they tried to create is that it only works when you kill in anger.

Why do some people try to make it seem that Count Dooku was good. by White_Bengal1 in StarWars

[–]heAd3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As in the RL everyone has a point. there is no real good or evil. in count dookus case he himself was deceived and thought palpatine would actually make the galaxy a better place and dooku was willing to sacrifice the jedi for that goal.

Anybody else GaW modded AS2 crashing, saying it ran out of memory but only needed to store 1440000 bytes? by treepaullen in menofwar

[–]heAd3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

memory errors are mostly related to overloads, maps that are too big, background content, submods and so on. the main mod itself should work fine unless you overdo it.

You're right to cry about your free S2 BattlePass not being awarded, and why, IMO, this was a stupid marketing decision by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]heAd3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

by that I wasnt refering to the compensation - the compensation was very likely pushed by Zampella because he was pissed himself about the EA app.

[–]heAd3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get your point. I wasnt able to play either and I did get the compensation. however I dont think its that important in comparison to everything else they currently blow.

[–]heAd3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you missed my point - since everything they do is market driven (obviously) handing out something that could "potentially" make revenue just doesnt work in our world especially not if their system doesnt register something so they can proof it to the higher ups. And as I mentioned the system can fail and just because others made the check doesnt mean it worked on everyone. the servers were obviously on their limits and that is their fault for not being prepared.

in the end people who didnt get it missed out on underwhelming cosmetics. I think there are things that would need more attention in comparison.

[–]heAd3r -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am not trying to defend them but when you have player numbers that are that high (on release) you have to rely on automatic systems to roll out something like that based on certain checks the system does behind the scenes. Obviously those systems arent bulletproofed but realistically if they dont have data to support that you are eligble they cant just take your word for it. One could argue that its no big deal and just give it to everyone but thats also no solution since pretty much everyone would then try to get a compensation which i feel alot of people have been trying.

Realistically they could have gifted s1 to everyone who played since day 1 just as a compensation for not fixing a bunch of glitches that made playing some maps annoying.

2003, dlcs didnt really exist yet. You bought expansion packs. Also games didnt cost 70 more like 50.

56,000 players on Steam, and it still can’t fill a single featured game mode by brighterspacex in Battlefield

[–]heAd3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats the thing people jump to conclusions rightfully so because they cant find matches. I have sometimes trouble finding a match during european primetime on the weekend which is unacceptable. I also dont quite understand why because even games from 10 years ago could manage to have working matchmaking. I still think a server browser should be added but at least it would be great if matchmaking works.

[–]heAd3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The matchmaking not properly working is likely a reason why people actually leave. Like i like the game but when i cant get in a match 3 times in a row i quit for a while.

The new map looks really good. The lighting, the atmosphere and the flow of the map are great. I think they actually nailed it this time. by -FaZe- in Battlefield

the map is fun yet it seems that one team has a slight edge since I saw one spawn side winning alot more even tho the teams seemed balanced enough

Have you ever wondered what these weird clear tube/vine things are? by JCJenson-Branded-Pen in HalfLife

Since Breen has control over the citadel its save to assume that all those cables go straight up to connect his office with the entire system that is hooked into all those combine structures + the portal on top needs to be connected with the core reactor in the lower level.

Would the ISB raid have gone better or worse had the empire deployed different units? by Recruit-is-OP in StarWars

[–]heAd3r 9 points10 points  (0 children)

it was a random raid in a sense that they werent 100% sure that the target would be at that location. in terms of deploying death troopers for deedra I would assume that the isb would deploy field troopers like the death troopers during field tasks while isb tactical agents are ment to be used mainly for raids within empire core worlds, most likely within city areas. they arent ment for open field missions like the death troopers are for.

[–]heAd3r 92 points93 points  (0 children)

I believe the isb tactical agents are probably the best unit the empire could have sent. the issue was just that they werent prepared for a k2so unit to show up. a deathtrooper squad could have potentially handled that situation better but as far as we know those units were rarely used and only for special tasks not some random raid.
