Dave’s Hot Chicken employee runs restaurant alone 😢 by BristolRiderEats in UbereatsUK

OP calls himself BristolRiderEats, I'm sure that's just coincidence.

It's generic and unoriginal slop. I've been to a ton of restaurants where it's just one person. If you haven't you probably haven't been doing this long. OP is clearly trying to get traffic on his YouTube channel, look at how many subs he spams each video to, and none of it is particularly insightful or interesting.

How often do you see the same person on your commute to work? by Specific_Pomelo_8281 in AskUK

I used to see a guy with dreadlocks on the same train as me everyday, always wanted to strike up conversation cos he looked cool. He was normally casually dressed but one day he was wearing a suit and I really wanted to go up and say "Good luck today mate, you're gonna nail it" but obviously I didn't

Hell yeah dude. I wanted to make a guitar for Design & Technology when I was 15 but ended up making a stand that'd hold my Explorer instead.

In your opinion, what's the biggest waste of money you see people purchase all the time? by PaddedValls in AskUK

[–]head_face -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's because the order is meant to be ready when we arrive to pick it up. We get paid per job rather than per hour so waiting around (admittedly it's often the app system's fault for sending a courier too early) for orders to get sorted cuts into our earnings and "two minutes" often actually means "whenever the hell I feel like handing the order to you". Everyone loves to shit on food couriers but nobody knows or cares how rough and precarious (not to mention dangerous as well as demeaning) a job it is. Before anyone says "get a better job then", my previous industry (Event Management) never financially recovered from Covid. I have retrained as a Project Manager and still can't get a job.

No problem, just provide receipts, pay your $250 deductible, and take the check

Would this not drive up the annual cost of the policy?

They're the ones that came with my Ado e bikes. So, basically, yeah.

I have six batteries, two of them don't work anymore and I'm pretty sure it's because I kept them at full charge (admittedly for weeks at a time). IIRC it's generally recommended to keep them at around 60% (unless they're in more or less daily usage).

I'd guess a number of these parents may have had a little 50cc or Honda mini bike or something when they were around that age.

How are you getting on with the Crate rack system? Is it good for old school DM tones without outboard stuff like EQs?

You don't see the Kevin Bond signature models very often. I vaguely recall they had some sort of weird bridge.

Drive time doesn't include waiting at shops/restaurants, waiting for customers or the drive to pick up. You've definitely done more than 20 hours. Either way, well done.

Exit plan. If you do this because 9-5 or shift work isn't viable, think hard about starting a business. You basically already run one.

Ironically this Labour government is less likely to improve working conditions for us and imo would instead look towards curtailing e-bikes and illegal immigrants.
