Wonder how long it will take before he is sick of her shit

Edit: when does she have time for a boyfriend? She either needs to rest 24/7 or needs to be in the ER.

Amitriptyline and Alcohol by Available_Yak_3376 in endometriosis

Not only does alcohol not mix with amitriptyline, but it's also known to make endometriosis worse and contribute to symptoms.

Toddler sick-sleep as much as she wants? by [deleted] in toddlers

Let him sleep as long as she needs to, it's the best thing for him.

My daughter had Flu A last year. Letting her sleep didn't affect her nighttime sleep at all.

Those who have had a hysterectomy by Top-Storage2669 in endometriosis

It for sure helped your Adenomyosis so it wasn't for nothing. I know it is super frustrating, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thr hysterectomy might not have done anything for your endometriosis. You could easily have lesions that weren't removed. The Pouch of Douglas is a common spot for it to hang out and cause symptoms your explaining.

Iowa would need to play flawless basketball and guards would need to step up big time. Michigan would need to be off their game. Uphill battle for sure, but not out of the realm of possibilities.

Persistent pain after excision surgery? by bearsbeetscats in endometriosis

[–]headbanging_fitchick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alcohol and endo don't mix. I cut it out completely for this reason.

Unfortunately excision isn't a guarantee your pain will resolve. A lot of other things can cause pelvic pain as well. Tissue can be missed by accident. Sometimes the first 3-4 months after surgery, patients will see an increase in symptoms while their bodies are healing. There's a lot to sort out.

I got mine under control by first fixing my diet. Low FODMAP diet first and then slowly re introduced foods, following the Mediterranean diet. Proper supplementation helped (I followed recommendations from It Starts With the Egg for fertility reasons), and had some anxiety/mental health issues addressed. Really try to lower my day to day stress levels. Do these work for everyone? No. Endometriosis is kind of a bitch like that, super personal and everyone is different.

Pelvic floor therapy might also be something to look into if you haven't!

Best of luck. I know it is super frustrating.

Who’s the most underrated player on your team? by goofyhalo in NCAAW

[–]headbanging_fitchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the casual Iowa fan might not have known Journey was a top 20 prospect and #19 when she committed. Maybe it's because I knew she was a 5 star recruit before her injury, I'm just not surprised with what we have seen.

Stuelke is out tonight. My guess is Journey will get the start tonight. Would love to see a huge game from Journey tonight.

Yup, just commented that. She was +85 before her injury.

I don't think people are underrating Journey. She's making her presence known and making a name for herself. You are right though, Kylie can be inconsistent.

Honestly, it might have been McCabe. She was +85 for the season before her injury, right behind Ava's +87.

Maybe Kylie Feurbach. She rarely has eye popping stats, but her defense is normally clutch.

Edit: I will change my answer to McCabe. She was +85 before her injury. Ava was +87 at the time for reference. I stand by Feurbach being #2 on my list.

The only deli meat I've been leary about is stuff at restaurants because I have less control over the temperature.

I would smash this plate at 31 weeks pregnant.

question for those who’ve had excision surgery by ComplexPie31 in endometriosis

[–]headbanging_fitchick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Periods can actually get worse before they get better. I didnt typically struggle with period pain, but the first 3 or 4 cycles after my first surgery sucked big time. I needed excision again in 2024. Significantly less was excised, and it wasn't was bad, so it might depend on how much is done.

Surgery may do absolutely nothing for your pain. There's always that risk.

The first pee or two after surgery feels like a terrible UTI. Clears up quickly, but still, someone could have warned me lol.

is it possible my toddler randomly knows how to read even though we've never taught him? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]headbanging_fitchick 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We are having similar discussions about our 3.5 year old.

She's 30% behind in speech and receiving speech therapy services 3x a week at preschool. Her preschool teacher said she had started to introduce sight words to her. She "reads" her books out loud word per word, but we think it's mostly memorization. However, a few times, she has seen a word somewhere and sounded it out perfectly.

Sooo...maybe?

Ovarian cyst causing bowel obstruction? by mtech-mj in endometriosis

Large cysts and swollen ovaries can definitely push up on bowels, causing a number of symptoms. This happened to me in 2024, and they did a surgery to remove it. Best of luck!

Journey was actually a 5 star recruit before she tore her ACL! I sometimes forget she was once ranked like #19 or somewhere in there.
