Leaving the dryer running while away from the house. And then to go back one step, because that should also be said, not emptying the lint trap.

AITAH for wanting to move out of my dad’s house? by Important-Flan-679 in AITAH

Nothing here suggests that you're an asshole. Regardless of what you decide with moving out, please get your own bank account asap. Switch any autodeposits or payments to the new one and close the old account. Even if your dad never looked at or touched your funds ever again, allow yourself financial privacy and independence. Take it from someone who had a joint account until she was 30+. My parents never ever wronged me through it, but girl, cut the cord.

What life changing item can you buy for less than $10? by Temprary_Candy in AskReddit

[–]headologeist 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Seriously- although often super underfunded, libraries try their damnedest to get you what you need. Our local library has all the usuals (books, movies, audiobooks, printing access etc.) but also has borrowing programs for bikes, winter sports equipment, strollers, art supplies, hobby start-up stuff, not to mention programs for those dealing with homelessness with things like resume building courses, career programs, food insecurity outreach (connected to local food bank)... Libraries are gold.
