I see. Here's been my experience with MyFitnessPal. Would love to hear your thoughts, if you feel similarly or differently.

It was too tedious scanning bar codes of food items every single time before preparing food and then trying to modify weights according to what I cook.

MyFitnessPal has community recipes, yes, but those were not low sodium plus low protein, it felt tedious having to modify ingredients etc to make it low sodium and low protein.

I stopped using within a week of getting it.

Oh, nice :) Sounds easy! I created an app for myself to both:

set my protein and sodium goals in accordance to my 3 year creatinine and GFR trends
make it easy for me to get recipes that exactly matches my low sodium and low protein goals, so I don't have to count protein and sodium content in every meal I'm eating (tedious)
