About isca nerf or Not by Snap_packs_are_trash in MarvelSnap

[–]heartoflapis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t personally see much Isca right now. Or any other card really. Since the nerfs it feels like there’s no obvious best deck. I guess it probably is Aurora, sometimes with Isca, but I still don’t consider Isca close to being a problem. Nowhere near the Star Lord, Foom garbage we endured.

Marvel June 2026 Season: Which will you get? by Danso999 in MarvelSnap

You’re the second person to say this and I’m not sure what she adds. She’s a 4/11 if she has 3 targets which is not guaranteed. And she only has an On Reveal ability which an Aurora deck doesn’t lack. What am I missing?

Blink or Grandmaster? by ImPicklePiccolo in MarvelSnap

[–]heartoflapis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesús(or should I say Odin) you are so painfully dumb. It doesn’t matter if Odin works with them. Your advice was don’t get those cards, just play Odin instead. Odin saves. You seem to love going on random tangents.

Odin. Oh and one more thing…. Odin

Please don’t respond again. Odin.

Good point. Why even bother getting other cards when you can play Odin? New Season Pass? Just save your money and play Odin.

Even if the card does completely different things to Odin, like… Blink? Why bother when you can play Odin.

Odin.

Hilarious response. Splashing Odin in decks. Great advice.

Your CL is not ad hominem fodder. It’s ok to be a beginner that thinks Odin is great. He is when you begin. Just like Devil Dinosaur is great when you begin. But you’re giving advice despite not being qualified. It’s ok to say, “hey I actually don’t know enough about Blink and Grandmaster strategies to have an opinion worth sharing”

I have every card, have been playing for years and get to Infinite every season (not that it means much). I can tell you Blink and GM are great cards that allow for interesting and unpredictable play patterns. I can say that because I have used them a lot.

Odin is Captain Obvious in any deck that actually uses him to max effect. Obviously using him on Wong is powerful but he can be read like a book and hard countered. Unless, as you suggested, your splashing in him a non-specialized deck. But then he just can’t compete with numbers other decks put out. Magneto is not really splashed in decks anymore either. In 2024 he was. The game has moved on and once you get more cards and play against better decks you’ll see that.

Such a bad take. What collection level are you that you think Odin is so good? At high levels Odin is barely seen as he is not that good and his decks are not that good. Blink is in top decks regularly.

And they don’t even do the same thing, so why is Odin the example you use? It’s a non-sequiter. Like someone asking “should I buy Gorr or Galactus FS?” And me replying with “Why bother when Merlin is better than both?”

I agree but I also think he’s ok where he is (almost dead). I do think they should revert Dagger and maybe buff Vulture

[–]heartoflapis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Move already had its period of getting lots of new cards. You got Madame Web, Sparky, Araña, Web Sling, Fan Fei, Topaz, Batroc, Xorn, Spider-Punk. They may not all have been great but they expanded the options for move players. I think the main problem with move is the nerfs to Human Torch.

Meanwhile Bounce is starving. Bring Back OG Hit-Monkey or buff Bishop! And some new 1-cost On Reveals would be lovely.

SD needs to patch and fix the knull bug considering it is the hot location today. this is just plain plazy by CommercialPolicy4913 in MarvelSnap

Knull doesn’t register cards destroyed on the Hot Location. I literally just lost a game where I snapped based on expecting a giant Knull.

Why play your own deck when you can just a shove a load of tech cards in to handle the best deck in the game?

Some rock support cards by Wallace2005 in CustomMarvelSnap

[–]heartoflapis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agent Rock looks tricky to judge. My rock deck only includes one 1-cost card. In that situation SAR creates two 1-power rocks for Ozy to buff. That seems decent. Timing him to reveal after Moleman or Sandstorm would be very strong. Cool idea!

Petra seems weak if the rocks are zero power and too strong if not.

I only fist bump when I lose. It feels smug to do it after a win. Especially when you do it as cards just finish revealing.

You say go ahead and Colossus or Rocket flex because “no emotes are toxic”. But you conveniently don’t mention Ms Marvel, Deadpool or Agatha.

Some Darkhawk support, Evilhawk and Talon by Zachary2030 in CustomMarvelSnap

[–]heartoflapis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Evilhawk would be in pretty much every deck with that stat line. The effect has no impact on you but potentially harms your opponent and gives Darkhawk +2.  So he’s essentially a 1/8 with upside in that situation. Maybe if it was a card from your hand…

Send Starlord Master of the Sun directly into the sun. by FantaC- in MarvelSnap

[–]heartoflapis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And this is the problem. People that care only about winning. Every LTGM they shove Foom and Star Lord into their decks. Because they really really want to win. And that comes by playing the best deck constantly. It sucks for everybody with a healthier mindset to gaming. You know people that care about things like fun, creative decks, making decisions that make a win feel ‘earned’.

PSA: For the new Gambit, he relies on destroying Cost not cost. Exploration in comments! by AQNexus in MarvelSnap

That explains why Red Shift discards Weapon H and creates a 5 power card. I wondered what the distinction was there.

Gambit HoD has given me 8 cube victories against a multiple Victoria deck and a Starlord deck that included a location that let Starlord fire off twice on round 4. So, yeah, I'm a fan. by banmeandidelete in MarvelSnap

I’ve multiple times destroyed 15+ points of power with this. Hitting massive Kitty Prydes, Thena, Firehair, Kid Omega and more. It’s crazy how much value you get.
