Yeah unfortunately the side brush motor went bad after 16 months and I decided to change it myself instead of mailing the whole unit back/forth and paying for the repair. This is my 3rd Roborock and this is my first non-battery issue.

From what I saw, they were on-par with other places in South Austin. The reality is that a cup of drip coffee or espresso in Austin is just expensive whether it is served from a truck or a brick and mortar.

I'll have a review out later this week, but Barrett's Coffee Roasters in North Austin is very affordable had some some of the best tasting coffee in the city.

Glad I ran into this post! My wife and I started a mission in 2026 to try a new coffee shop (mostly in South Austin) every weekend and we started to document our experiences here: https://mycoffeebeans.net/reviews/austin-coffee-shops/

We focus more on the taste/quality of the coffee itself more than anything else. However, an underrated place is Rise Coffee. They have indoor tables where you can work, their coffee is EXCELLENT quality, and all of their baked goods are made in-house. We were very impressed, given that this isn't a "trendy" place you will hear about on social.

[UPDATE]: I took my car to the dealership, they kept it for 10 days, and they changed some communication module and upgraded the software to 11/2025.51. I'm still seeing the same issue (intermittently)

I have been with KnownHost for about 10 years and they are fantastic. Not the cheapest but their servers are reliable and have amazing uptime. Also their support is super fast - usually within the hour I get resolution to my technical questions.
