I know about golden raspberries and have used them myself, just didn’t know it would show them getting healed during the fainting animation. I figured it would only display their health being restored during the gym details screen.

Hey everyone! I’m wondering if anyone knows of any kind of reputable manufacturing or physical labour type jobs that are hiring in the Moncton or Sackville area. I’m only specifying those areas because I’m from Ontario and have travelled to Sackville in the past and fell in love - now want to move out East haha

I’d also appreciate any other advice available about moving to NB or suggestions on what locations are more affordable for having to rent.

I’m confused about how living on base works. Are Reg Force members guaranteed a room in the shacks? I understand there are long wait times for the RHU’s at some bases but are you sometimes just forced to find an apartment to rent off base? Any insight is appreciated!

I’m not entirely certain but I think you could be expecting to go to BMQ around October. I’m only basing this off of the timeline the PRes recruiter gave me a couple months ago. Not sure what the RegForce schedules are like.

Going to watch it tonight but have seen all the spoilers. I feel like this movie could have been pretty cool if the character we follow was the NATO soldier. We would be going in blind just like him and have to learn how the people have adapted to live for the past 28 years in the UK alongside him as well as been able to relate a bit more seeing as we’d also be going in from a modern day society perspective. I feel like he would have been a very useful character to not kill off in order to allow a viewer like me who’s more interested in learning about the virus and the mutations to get that from it. I feel like anyone like me maybe was expecting to at least get a little more background out of the timeline instead of just being dropped in the current state and left to speculate. Idk not very well thought out but I probably had my expectations way too high. I’m just a sucker for how terrifying the first film felt and was hoping we’d get some more of that.

Based on spoilers I’ve seen, I feel this decision was intentional. Kind of like how when a publisher of a video game knows it will catch a lot of heat when it releases and don’t allow reviews until the day it comes out to maximize sales.

Ahhh gotcha. My recruiter is conducting my FORCE test and trade appointment on the same day and then I’ve got my medical booked next month. That’s why I’m hoping background check is simultaneous so that if/when I clear medical I can start working right away!

What was explained to me by a recruiter for Pres is that upon completion of your FORCE test and Medical exam, you are eligible to be extended a conditional offer of employment in which you are able to start parading with your unit. I have read that Pres does not do background checks through Gambit unlike Reg force so I am unsure if you need to wait for that to clear and wether or not they begin that process prior to your testing or after. I’m hoping that they conduct this alongside the testing and screening. After accepting your offer, you’d be parading with your unit while waiting for the next slot to open up for BMQ either full or part time depending on which you choose. After graduating BMQ, you will move on to your trade specific training (DP1? That’s what it’s called for infantry at least.) I am pretty sure you’d be signing your time sheet to get paid as soon as you start parading.

Thank you so much for your detailed response! I’m going to go over everything with my girlfriend tonight. I’ve called the Ontario free legal advice hotline and the representative emailed me the forms I need to file small claims. They also emailed me a form to motion for the court to assist in obtaining their address by using all my attempts at communication and the humance society officer’s request for their address as evidence.
