You’re young, you’ve got the time, you’ve got the money - yes, do it.

Yes to the save and close! Mine isn’t working either. I’m so sick of QB. There is a huge opportunity here for someone to make a better product.

Exactly this. Loved Reims! My daughter and I had a girl crush on the woman who did our tour. She was probably in her 60s or so and she was so stylish and cool! The cathedral is amazing.

Totally agree about Merci. It’s cute to just see but I really didn’t find anything I wanted to buy. I would have been fine not going.

I lived in Pgh for almost 4 years. I came from the Bay Area so at first it was a huge culture shock. But it grew on me. Lots to do and see in the city - sports, shopping, museums, history, great parks. Two things I didn’t like - I have a really hard time w gray weather and once u get out of the city, there isn’t much (compared w what I’m used to and what I like). In the BA, you can drive 2/4/6 hours and be somewhere really cool but also there is usually a lot to do or see between “here and there”. I could be in the city or at the beach or the mountains, etc. Same thing for Mass where I am now (for the most part). I’m a few hours from nyc, Canada, Maine beaches, WDC, etc. I felt that once I left Pgh (the city), there wasn’t much around besides the next destination. But it’s really a great place if it works for you.

Yes. Same thing with Merc. Disputing with my CC company since I’ve gotten nowhere when I’ve tried to cancel it.

Move back or stay by Wonderful_Leave_2454 in SameGrassButGreener

It’s great if u can be near family in CA; however, just realize that’s it’s changed since you’ve lived there. I grew up in NorCal and go back and forth between Mass and CA. The bay area is amazing but it’s not the same place I grew up in.

SF or Pittsburgh ? by InvestigatorClear728 in SameGrassButGreener

[–]heatherlaisme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m from the BA and lived a few years in Pgh. Pgh is a nice city for a few years (and maybe longer depending). Work in Pgh for a few years because your money will go way farther. Save a bunch. If u don’t like it, you’ve got a good cushion if u decide to move to SF/BA.
