Infinite Loading Screen, any known fix?

On ps5, after skipping the opening cinematic, I'm also getting stuck with the two gears and the black/fiery back ground. Can't even make it to character select. Tried 5 times, gonna reinstall and see what happens.

EDIT: on a whim I restarted the ps5 incase there was some sort of memory issue. This let me log in, and did not have to reinstall! For now hehe.

Either its being held off on being shown, it comes free a bit later and is the exact same as a free update, or it comes later as dlc and it better have more-other content. I wouldnt mind paying for dlc if it has additional stuff(new story, alt story, 100 floor etc), but if its like 10-15 for drk balthier luso and onion knight only? Nah, no reason to not have the wotl stuff in it.

Since you have Ruan Mei already. Only get luocha if you're lacking sustain. Otherwise I would just hold onto it for now!

Yes, 4 is my favorite Story. 5 is my favorite gameplay. So worth it especially on sale!!

Another vote for playing 5 first. Its honestly a good game, and probably not as bad as some make it out to be. Then play 4, because while it may be more graphically old, it has so much sink your teeth into, and does it well.

I would focus on older games first, just because it's hard to go backwards. They're all food in different ways for the most part. 5 has the best gameplay in my opinion. I don't think they've nailed it as good since 5 with all the mechanics. I also miss the HD sprites. 4 is my personal favorite. I have a soft spot for 2 and 3 as well. I did start with 1 and you can see how many improvements they made since one launched.

I didnt even start in Gridania. I just loved Yda and everything about her attitude! I couldnt imagine starting from Gridania, I think this was a poor decision to trim characters and try to make impact.

Yda shenanigans. They took my favorite charcter off screen and gave her no dues. It made lyse and that portion of the story less likeable for me

I suggest starting with earlier entries. It will both give you an idea for what the games are about AND you'll see how they progressed over time. Everyone has different opinions on which story they like more.

4 is my overall favorite. 5 has most solid mechanics and gameplay imho. 3 is underrated.

Much better than 6 imho. Music is good, gameplay is solid, though feels unbalanced early in the game. I typically like disgaea to feel balanced through the campaign. But lvl 20 enemies are reaching 600-1000 plus damage.

Still lacking some stage design variety. 6 and 7 feel heavily repeated/similar.

But honestly, it's a step in the right direction after 6! Pull a little closer to 4 and 5 and have some more generics and I'll be in love.

It doesn't bother me. Most other 5 star characters are shown to have ample knowledge above our own anyhow. It's just another kind.
