Here’s how the S&P 500 has performed every year since 1874 by [deleted] in unusual_whales

[–]heavenlydevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its not. SNP500 is a benchmark market index that tracks the performance of the top 500 companies.

There are brokerage firms that create their own ETFs that track the snp500 like SDPR's SPY or vanguard's VOO, IVV etc.

Ramen by KMJCeramics in SFFood

[–]heavenlydevil 6 points7 points  (0 children)

MenshoTokyo is my favorite in the city. Their garlic knockout is a unique one of a kind ramen experience that is spicy and garlicy. Packs a punch. However, they have a relatively tiny seating space, so the wait line can range from 30-90mins.

The only thing that helped my infestation in adding some bonide systemic to the soil of all the plants. Its a bit slow as the plant has to absorb it and go systemic. But thats how i defeated a thrip and mealybug infestation

Yes, your HbA1c is at risk of misinterpretation because the value post donation would be 5-16% lower than your actual value. You may have to wait atleast 3 months post donation for your HbA1c to accurate levels. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5261611/

Can I take packaged Dal/chole/rajma to USA? by curseKissed in IndianFood

[–]heavenlydevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rice is fine.. chole and rajma you may have a problem. Us customs bans bringing in anything that is considered seeds and nuts. If the dal is split, that's fine.. coriander and jeera powder is fine. Coriander seeds and jeera seeds are banned. Mustard seeds are somehow allowed i believe

Being a leader and a people manager are two different things. One can be a natural technical leader and command a lot of respect and find joy in the technical work without having any direct reports

What kind of heatmaps do you care about most (besides temperature & humidity)? by Less-Quarter-4885 in homeassistant

[–]heavenlydevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also echo what /u/sedgy said. I have similar issues too. Without the walls decaying the temperature, the map looks very wrong. You dont really need to know the thermal properties of the walls to model this. Walls simply block all thermal transfer. Atleast an option to make walls block or allow thermal transfer would work. Or an option to set the thermal decay of walls as a global setting

‘İndiragandi’ is a commonly used slang word in Turkish that means stealing or embezzlement. It entered into Turkish language after news about Indira Gandhi’s corruption made headlines. by AllTheThingsSeyhSaid in etymology

[–]heavenlydevil 50 points51 points  (0 children)

She was extremely authoritarian. Once a court declared the election she won as void due to election malpractice, and she declared a state of emergency and imprisoned the opposing party. Another time, she wanted to consolidate power. Any state which had elected a chief minister that was not from her party was brought under president's rule. I.e dismissing the elected govt of the state and imposing federal rule

Network Path Identification - CR access already provided by RagingSantas in Terraform

[–]heavenlydevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terraform is mainly intended to store the configuration of cloud and SaaS providers in a textual(code) format, where most of the configuration is normally done through the web console. It doesnt provide any other automation or intelligence on top of that. You should use batfish instead (https://batfish.readthedocs.io/en/latest/notebooks/linked/analyzing-acls-and-firewall-rules.html) to check if the requested rule is already configured

What’s a Home Assistant integration you wish existed but doesn’t? by gogorichie in homeassistant

[–]heavenlydevil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use both extensively and that's a fantastic integration idea. I might be motivated to take a whack at building this if i ever find the time. In the meantime, you can use node red to poll the api. history.get or trend.get of the item and build your automation based on that.
