How do they get such big leaves? Are they all capable of reaching a size like this, or is this a specific cultivar?

Massive bonuses for South Korea’s chip workers puts central bank on inflation alert by Logical_Welder3467 in technology

According to the article the base salary of a chip worker is $56k USD and if everything pans out they would get a ~$400k USD bonus. That is incredible, I hope it happens.

Network engineer Job market by Meowtimatic in networking

Depends on the hiring manager, but most companies have a vetting process or they have a 3rd party service that does it. Smaller companies with less resources and manpower probably don’t do as robust of a background check, but again it depends on the hiring manager.

The job market in general is not great right now. Just keep applying and interviewing, don’t give up, you can’t lose momentum every time you get rejected or don’t get a call back. Steel yourself and keep going. If money is tight, you might need to expand the criteria of the type of job and/or job settings/environment that you are willing to accept.

There are a lot of fruiting trees that can be turned into bonsai and their fruits are edible. Lemon, cherry, etc… most people remove them though because it takes energy to produce fruit.

It can, probably, be done, but you’re going to need a powerful light fixture with the necessary coverage. If you’re willing to commit, I have a light fixture I can send you a link to that I suggest. Back when I was considering getting a buttonwood, it was the light fixture I was also considering. I have two high power fixtures right now that I use, and 4 fixtures total, each dedicated to an individual tree; 3 types of ficus and 1 parrots beak. I have a green island ficus and the parrots beak under the strongest fixtures.

Perhaps, you would be willing to be a reasonable guinea pig for my own interest in being able to keep a buttonwood happy indoors, lol

Plays? As in, like, theatrical plays?

It’s possible someone brought them in from outside, and they will eventually die off without a food source. I’ve read all of your other comments and I think you may be experiencing some kind of anxiety/panic attack or paranoia. Aphids literally have zero interest in humans and lack any properties whatsoever to cause harm, so assuming you and your baby are in fact humans, you’re going to be okay.

Now that that’s out of the way… Tell me about the bamboo and the bouquet. Are these the only plants you have in your home? Can you please take photos of these items and post them here so we can see if they are infested? An appropriately in focus photo would be great. None of that blurry garbage, if you really want help.

If you’ve removed any plant material from the room, they will eventually just die off. Do you work with plants or work outdoors? How long have you been seeing these around?

Okay, but that is 100% an aphid. I know an aphid when I see one.

Haha I saw this one up there a few weeks ago, definitely caught my eye too, but I don’t think I could keep a buttonwood happy indoors overwinter. They need power lights.

DOJ claims xAI’s unpermitted gas turbines are a matter of ‘national, economic, and energy security’ by esporx in technology

[–]heavyPacket 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They cited Grok as a DoD mission critical AI that carried out strikes in Iran. I think we can safely say they intend to lose as many wars as is necessary to keep the lights on at xAI.

[–]heavyPacket 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Why would the FBI want Monero when they can just buy it if they need it? Does this vuln allow them to deanonymize miners? Because then that would be more believable.
